This house immediately felt like home. My husband and I along with my uncle and his wife and niece were on a business trip for a long weekend and decided to stay at a Vrbo instead of hotel rooms. It was definitely less expensive but SO much nicer. We were very pleased with everything about the place. Location, ease of checking/checkout process, the furnishings made you feel like you were at home.
This is a nice place to stay. The two main bedrooms are separated at each end of the home which make for good privacy if going as couples. The Porch with the chairs, fans and lights add a nice country feel.

Acorn house
The place was fabulous!! The amenities were just what we needed and the place was very comfortable. Would highly recommend the Acorn house
Vacasa Our stay was for New Year’s Eve 2025 - 2026. The house was conveniently located for our needs and clean to the sight but after looking for blankets in the closets we found this huge pet bed full of animal hair and a large pet cage. We read not only on the listing but also in the house rules that no pets were allowed. We booked based on that information it was a pet free home and pets have not regularly been in the house. We hoped my family would not have to deal with pet hair or pet dander for allergy reasons. This information should be disclosed in your listing that pets are in the home and just renters are not allowed to bring in their own pets. I hope this will not affect my family's health this week. I hope Vacasa will require owners to disclose this information to avoid any potential liability in the future due to possible allergic reactions. Overall the house was satisfactory other than having animal hair stuck to our bags.

Reviewer Comments:
The heater was inoperable but a very presentable and qualified technician came and undertook repairs. Please have the maintenance person shim up the refrigerator door. The floor slopes away from the refrigerator and causes the refrigerator door to slam agains the adjacent passageway opening's wood jamb. Our family would consider renting the house again.
Tryying to get the code to work in the front door when we arrived was our only frustration. Everything else was very nice .

Nice spacious home with toys for my grandchild and a play area outside. Comfortable.
The location is good and not far from all activities in Asheville. We walked down the street for breakfast and coffee. We relaxed on the front porch and enjoyed the family time. House is roomy, clean and has a nice fire pit out back.

Reviewer Comments:
Pros: Cute home, nice front porch, functional kitchen, spacious bedrooms. Cons: keypad is tricky, loud street, low water pressure when using both bathrooms, sink in main bathroom needs attention. It was clogged and we didn’t report. Overall nice property but too expensive for the value.
The rental was absolutely perfect! Everything was extremely well cleaned. The house was decorated beautifully. Lots of towels and blankets available. Great location. Just a short drive to both Hendersonville and Asheville. I would definitely stay at this property again.
House was clean and in great shape. Everything was as described. The checkin was seamless and property manager was very easy to deal with. I would definitely stay here again.

Nice house
Good location house to get to the Biltmore and surrounding places. It was a nice quaint home. We enjoyed the fire pit at night. The kitchen has all the things we needed for our stay. The beds were comfy to sleep in. My kids enjoyed the few games and puzzles the home has to offer. The house was not fully cleaned upon arrival and housekeeping had to come back to clean, even after that it was an ok clean not the best. We did have quick responses to the matter and it was handled. The other thing that was not truly disclosed was the fact the home is right off the main road and there is a junk yard located right behind the back fence. Also, at the time of our visit the house next door had lots of trash and toliets in their front yard which was a tad concerning and we felt a little on the unsafe side. However all in all the house itself is nice and if cleaned properly would be nice to stay at.
The process of working with turnkey was so simple. There were immediate responses from text messages and all the info we needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The details provided in prep including folded towels with travel soap, shampoo, and conditioner on each bed was very thoughtful, and the dining room table was prepared with place settings and stemware. The home itself was much roomier than I was expecting, with three large bedrooms a nice sized living room, and dining room. The fire pit behind the home was large enough for a good fire and the area surrounding it was prepared with gravel and stumps for seating if the provided folding chairs are not used. The neighborhood was quiet and a good location to nearby access.
The house was super clean with updates throughout. Very close to hiking and Asheville. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Reviewer Comments:
The house was cute and served our needs well. It was nice to come back and be able to spread out a bit. The front porch was nice to have coffee on in the morning. I gave 3 stars to property condition only because there were some items lacking in the kitchen and the home is in need of a few cosmetic repairs. All in all we loved Asheville and surrounding areas!
