It was a last minute lodging and I am glad I booked it! It had everything I needed, and if i was missing anything I could get it at the market within walking distance. The only issue I had was the rushed and rude manner we were checked out. I asked if I was able to park in the front for a few minutes to pick up some stuff at the market, and the person responded with a loud sigh and barked an order that I had 15 minutes to get it done. Mind you, I was leaving an hour before check out. Other than that, it was a pleasant experience.

Friendly, multi-lingual, 24h reception. Large campsite / campersite with plenty of facilities. The public bus stop is a few minutes up the road, and the reception sells individual tickets. Our hut for 5 people was tiny but well-equipped with comfortable beds and 2 ensuite shower rooms. The floor was cold due to the ventilation, and we had a bit of trouble getting the heating and hot water to work in the main room, but overall it was a good stay and we'd definitely go again.

We stayed 2 nights at Hu Firenze in February. We had everything we needed and the accommodation conditions were very good. We were 4 people, 2 adults with 2 children and we rented a superior chalet cottage.

Everything was perfect. The room was cute and very modern and minimalist. I would improve the internet service since I couldn’t reach the conection from my cottage. The breakfast was exelent! The location was far but were a suttle service for 3€ that would drive youback and forth to the city. The area of the hotel was very organize.

Property needed a coffee maker or kettle. WiFi was non existent at the cabin. Even mobile was very poor. Restaurant food was boring and not worth the money. Too much emphasis on making a profit.

The amenities in the camping are fantastic, and also the bungalow was really nice and clean. The only downside was the shuttle bus to the canter, which leave you quite far (around 30/35 mins walking from the Duomo). But I definitely recommend the HU camping and will definitely be back! WE LOVED IT

Pretty good overall. The room was decently sized. Shower was huge. I really like the shower and I appreciated having a safe and minifridge in the room. There is no maid service, but I actually prefer it that way. Bed was comfortable and large. My only real complaint about the room was that there was no wifi, despite their website saying they had wifi. Also, I think my A/C stopped cooling like 6 hours before I checked out, which is weird because the A/C was really, really cooling the room every other day. As far as the other amenities, they had 3 small pools; they were nice, but I wish they were bigger. They had a restaurant which was pretty good for dinner, but i strongly disadvice you from eating breakfast there. It is just cold meats and cheese. Not a good way to start your morning. There is a laundromat, but the prices are outrageous. 5 Euros for just the washer, and another 5 for the dryer. They have a shuttle that takes you to and from downtown Florence; its not free (as i think it should be) but it is fairly priced. However, I don't know why the bus drops you off so far away from the city center. It's a half a mile walk just to cross the bridge to get into the city, and then probably another half a mile to any attraction worth seeing. Seriously, I know for a fact that the bus could drop you off almost half a mile closer, but for some reason it doesn't.

Nice, clean self contained 2 bedroom chalet, with small kitchen area with very limited cooking utensils 2 ring hob, no living room. Pools were lovely and clean but not heated so water was very cold even after a full day of sun. We had prepaid the €8 buffet breakfast but it was basic with limited choice and quality. There were much nicer looking croissants available in the bar area for €1.5 so unless you eat loads probably best just buying these. We used the shuttle bus one day return cost €3 but it drops you quite a walk from the centre of city so if you can’t walk far this may not be ideal for you. Info centre sells local bus tickets for €1.7 one way which gets you closer into the city centre but takes slightly longer to get there. Bike hire seemed expensive at €17 a day for a basic bike

A great place to stay.Everything you need is on the property.The pool areas and the restaurant and other dining areas are fabulous. We booked a deluxe cabin and it had everything. The best was it has an ensuite in each bedroom. Would highly recommend this to anyone travelling to Florence. It is a little way from the centre of town but you can hop on the shuttle bus which operates all day. Loved our stay.

The property is very much transport orientated ( being a camp site ) take this into account if like us your travelling without and need to rely on public transport. A little too far to walk to florence. Bus service is ok ( buy a ticket ) As for the complex. Big thumbs up, especially if you have kids. Food a little pricey , ok ish !!! Enjoyed our stay.

My kids can't stop talking about our trip!
Wonderful place! Perfect detailed directions sent to my email a few days before. LOVE the how close it is to the center of Florence. Beautiful pools, very clean spaces, excellent general store (6 pack of big bottles of water were only 2.50 euro!!!! Only one thing was weird, the shuttle bus could easily take you a mile more down the road to the main bridge.. instead it drops you off in an inconvenient spot. We will recommend to everyone we know!

This was perfect for the family as we had a pool to cool down in the heat, on site restaurant and bar as well as supermarket so we could buy groceries. The pool area was super busy but we always managed to find sun beds. The shuttle to the city was very helpful and laundry facility was a big bonus. We used mosquito repellent when sitting outside and the air conditioning was pleasant.

We loved this place! The AC worked fantastic in the "bunks" and everything was within walking distance! There is a grocery store that has a lot of items that you would need (No cough drops though haha) but everything else you can think of. Within walking distance of the dinner/breakfast place that had great food and the staff was amazing! The only thing I wish is that the pool was open longer, it closed at 8:00pm but I do with it was open longer (Maybe a Lifeguard Not on Duty warning). All in all I would highly recommend this place and would definitely stay there again!

It was fantastic. We needed a place to stay in Florence as we are traveling though Italy. This turned out much better than we expected. The tent did feel like a tent and was as good as some of the hotels we had stayed in. Facility excellent and at Bus to the centre for €3 as well

Staff were great, restaurant was very good again with great staff. On-site facilities good too. But oh my, the accommodation we had was from 1976. Had to walk sideways like a crab to move around. The shower was decent as was the comfort of the bed. Checked out 1 day early. Would not return.
