The bed was very comfortable and absolutely loved the continental breakfast provided, very thoughtful. The kitchen had most things we needed when we were cooking our own meals. Only one thing to fault would be that the bathroom could be a bit cleaner as I saw hair on the floor when we arrived. Otherwise very pleased with everything else.

I stayed in the Rosie´s Town House located in Smithton. It is a really nice place and mostly tranquil location. Almost one year before I had stayed there and booked it also for this trip and stayed now 4 nights.

The cottage was easy to find - sign posts along highway were clear. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with adequate space. However, we found the room deodorizers somewhat over powering, and the bath/shower was not easily accessible for us over 50s.

Great getaway

We had a relaxing time away at Rosebud Cottage. It is a great base to explore the area; there are many bushwalks in the Tarkine region to do. A meal at Tall Timbers is also just down the road.

It was quite hot when we were in Smithton and the air conditioner was not working up to its full capacity, it was really warm inside even we had the air conditioner on for awhile.

Rosie's hot two bedroom townhouse in Smithton

Rosie's two bedroom townhouse in Smithton is spacious with almost all but a dishwasher included. Even provided with fresh bread and cereal for breakfast. However we arrived on a hot summers day, and unfortunately the afternoon sun and an ineffective air conditioner turned the townhouse into a sauna. Maybe better appreciated in winter.

Home away from home

The cottage was so cosy and welcoming I felt at home the moment I stepped in. The fireplace was a plus, especially since Winter was just about at its coldest. Everything you needed was already there or a 5 minute drive down to Smithton. Definitely will be back!

Highly recommended

A very clean and comfortable cottage - a deep spa and a large bed was perfect for our night away. The location was quiet and private and owner was welcoming. Will definitely be returning as soon as possible.
