"We loved our stay at Barcelo Old Town Funchal. The staff were kind, friendly and helpful. The hotel is centrally located with many restaurants and sights within walking distance. If you want to spend a relaxing day at the roof top pool the view and the Aperol Spritz’s are top notch."

"The Vine hotel has an amazing brunch that is included in the hotel stay. It also has an excellent restaurant for dinner, called UVA, that offers wonderful views of the ocean and the city side. Great for couples!"

"Great location with direct access to the sea. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive. The rooms are beautiful and breakfast buffet has a wide selection to choose from. Overall highly recommend this hotel for a relaxing break and treat for something special."

"Excellent modern hotel in a fantastic location right in the centre of Funchal. Rooms were a great size and very comfortable and clean. Staff were very friendly and extremely helpful at all times. Lovely continental breakfast to start the day with a good choice was very good as well. Rooftop bar and lounge are were lovely and peaceful as well as affording a great view over the harbour area. We would certainly stay in the hotel again if we are to return to Funchal in the near future."
