The Lazareto's Cozy House e is located on the seafront with a wonderful garden and allows accommodate up to five adults. It has a large balcony, enjoying a tranquil position in the hillsides of Funchal. Ideal for families or groups wishing to enjoy the spectacular view of the ocean and the city. The Funchal City has numerous attractions such as several museums with exhibitions of various kinds, gardens and viewpoints, churches and religious art, Forte de São Tiago, Funchal harbor and the famous Farmers Market that represents the best of traditional commerce, which is also an attraction! In the old grocery stores where they sell loose spices or where you can drink the famous Poncha of Madeira, which serves as great appetizer a meal in the cozy atmosphere of one of the great restaurants in the old town where you can enjoy a good atmosphere and service, but also, a selection of various meat dishes or fish (always fresh). You can enjoy a unique view over the city of Funchal taking the cable car bound for Monte which is known for its beautiful, lush gardens, but also the famous Church of Monte. From the top of Monte's Church the overlooking the city of Funchal is indescribable! To return to the city center, you can choose to visit the Botanical Garden or release some adrenaline taking the famous "basket of cars" to return to Funchal city center.

The best of Madeira won't be seen through the roads, but, taking the old paths (famous "levadas" of Madeira Island) linking all the villages of Madeira, even the most remote ones. Through them can meet the most beautiful and lush island landscapes, but also meet the famous laurel forest which is classified as World Heritage by Unesco.
