Great stay!!

We stayed at this house and it was perfect for our little family. The house itself is in a great location on the bayside. It has an amazing water view with a long dock that goes out onto the water where you can fish which we did under the green light and caught a lot of different kinds of fish. We spent a whole week in Galveston and when we come back I will most definitely be getting this cute house! Thank you for a wonderful stay:)

Great Little Spot

My new go-to in Galveston! Clean & comfortable, only negative - unable to get the fishing lights on the pier to work. Regardless, would stay here again.

Family trip

This is my favorite vacation house, clean, really nice and a great location. Close to everything, good coffee shop & restaurant within walking distance. They have made numerous improvements since last time I visited, making this visit even more enjoyable. New floors, updated bathrooms, new ceiling fans & blinds throughout the house. Has all you need to cook your meals there, plus they have added a grill downstairs to cook your burgers and/or steaks. The washer/dryer is convenient and they leave soap Pods for you to use. Fishing from the pier day and night is so much fun, you catch all kinds of fish and it has water on the pier as well to clean your fish. During the day, dolphins feed by the pier. Bring bug spray, because mosquitoes can get bad in the afternoon & night.

Vacation

The front burner on the stove was not working. There were several soft spots in the floors. Several of the bar stools were broken and one of the chairs at the dining table. The shower in the on-suite appeared to have mold and needed some additional cleaning. Several lights were not working. There were plenty of bath towels but not face towels. Need to provide a broom and mop for the premises. But overall, the stay was good. The view was beautiful! If these issues are resolved, we would love to stay there again. Thanks.

Disappointment

the day after checking in I contacted VRBO about this house and stated the stove was not working properly, the handle on dishwasher was broken, coffee maker not working, one of the stair step boards fell off the day we checked in while walking up the stairs, the floors were not clean,the lock box was very difficult to open, I was told by Vacasa the boat lift would be available only to find it was locked and unable to use. This was the worst experience my family has ever had in a vacation rental. VRBO told me to call Vacasa no help.

A quiet environment

It was a great lil place to stay!!! Very quiet, not in town so away from major traffic. Couple minor things need to be fixed but overall we enjoyed our stay!!! Definitely will go back to the lil house.

They Canceled

I would have loved to stay in this house which I looked for forever when planning my family fishing trip. I booked it in MAY, three months in advance and four days before my check in I get a call from Vacasa saying its not available because they are redoing the floors. Y'all had three months to get that done. Thanks for ruining my vacation. three

Cute house but needs some love

Definitely would stay again but house needs lots of Maitenance work. Doors stick and key was hard to lock the doors also had the wrong code and couldn’t get the key. Small bathroom shower unable to use because all the water would drain into floor from pan not being sealed. Other shower head didn’t work. Other small issues that weren’t as big of a deal like floor issues from the leaking water, Closet door not on, other doors wouldn’t close and small items were broken. Mosquitoes were also really bad but they had a lawn spray that Vacasa told me I could use and really helped. House also has ants in Livingroom and might need to be sprayed for. Vacasa did a really good job with all my inquiries but they need to set time aside for repairs.

Bayside with Fishing Pier

Nice, quiet location with large fully stocked kitchen. Nice size bathrooms and an outside shower downstairs. Plenty of seating for our family and extra large closet for Master where we stored all our stuff. Could have put a kid on a pallet in there since there was a window in there too. It was nice also to have front door and double back door. Plenty of parking for all of us. Older home but has been remodeled. Pull out couch in living room is fine for kids but would not recommend for adults. Thanks!
