Tranquil 4-Person forest bungalow near Ommen – perfect for nature lovers

Welcome to our charming 4-person bungalow, nestled in the serene, forested park of 't Giethmenseveld, near the historic town of Ommen (Overijssel, the Netherlands). Surrounded by nature, you’ll often see squirrels and birds in the large, private garden – a perfect retreat for peace and relaxation.

Cozy living and modern amenities
The bright, open-plan living area features heated floors, a comfortable seating area, a Bluetooth JBL speaker, and a smart TV. After a day exploring the outdoors, unwind in front of the wood-burning stove for a cozy evening atmosphere.

The fully-equipped kitchen includes everything you need: a combination microwave/oven, Nespresso machine, standard coffee maker, milk frother, kettle, citrus press, and even a selection of spices, tea, and coffee.

Fast fiber-optic internet ensures you can stream your favorite shows or easily work remotely if needed.

Bedrooms and bathroom
The bungalow has two cozy bedrooms, each with a double bed (140x200 cm). The bathroom features a spacious shower and a double sink, and the toilet is separate.

Outdoor living
Enjoy the spacious 900m² garden, surrounded by trees for privacy and tranquility. There’s a dining table and chairs for outdoor meals, and a hammock to relax in with a book or take a nap. The outdoor fireplace makes evenings under the stars extra special. You can access hiking and cycling trails directly from the property. Two bikes are included in the rental price.

Family-friendly fun
The garden is perfect for kids to play, and inside, we’ve provided board games, books, and coloring supplies for rainy days. A playground with swings, a slide, and a zipline is just a 5-minute walk away.

On-site amenities
The park offers several amenities, including a heated outdoor pool (open May-September), a playground, tennis courts, soccer field, and a boules court. There’s also a small library and a laundry room with washing machines and dryers available for use.

Our bungalow is located near some of the most beautiful natural areas in the Netherlands, including the " Sahara sand dunes" , and the "Lemelerberg" and "Archemerberg" hills. Perfect for walking or biking! For families, nearby attractions like Outdoor Ommen, Hellendoorn Adventure Park, and Slagharen Amusement Park offer fun-filled days.

For a cultural day out, visit the historic Hanseatic cities of Deventer or Zwolle, both of which offer a rich history, excellent shopping, and fantastic restaurants.

One well-behaved dog is welcome.
