"I've stayed at this hotel many times. It is consistently good and seems to keep the same staff. There is always entertainment at the weekends which is great if you've been shopping and want to relax in the bar after a meal in their very good restaurant. I take my niece for a treat. She particularly enjoys the pool area as it is a good hotel for families."

"Always a queue at reception, not enough staff. Really uncomfortable pillows & staff couldn’t provide any firmer. Do not eat in Recess restaurant- shocker, poor service, food wasn’t good - took over 40 mins just to bring our drink order"

"I really enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located close to some great bars & restaurants & within walking distance of the city centre attractions. The beautiful Botanic Gardens are next door. I loved the hot buffet breakfast, it set me up for the day. My bedroom had loads of space, high ceilings and a kettle with tea & coffee. All in all good value for money. There is no free parking outside the hotel but I found plenty within a 20 minute walk away. I will definitely return."
