ADK Getaway
The property was beautifully constructed, well equipped for the perfect escape from the buzz of city life, cozy, and private. A short half-mile walk to trail heads leading to a tent site, lean-to, and lakes. Don't forget chairs to enjoy the campfire, a flashlight in case the lantern provided runs out of battery, and indoor entertainment (board games, DVDs to play on the TV in the bedroom, cards, etc) if reading isn't your idea of a way to pass some time indoors. The small library provided offered an array of genres for any adult reader and mood. Thanks again for sharing your camp with us. We look forward to returning. Lynn and Josh. Albany, NY.

Cozy and remote, with issues
There is no closet or any storage space for clothes/belongings. The one dresser was completely full of linens for the property. The space heater did not work. Otherwise a perfectly acceptable spot.

Our experience started out ok...but Then as the stay went on it got worst .
It was definitely a experience we don't want to "repeat ". We had no heat the second night of our stay ... Numerous attempts to get ahold of owner/ property manager.....no response.... even after almost 2 weeks since we rented the house ...still NO RESPONSE from anyone. The weather was below freezing ... the house became very cold ...and the only heat we had was in the bathroom ...which had a electric heater in it. And as it was stated in the description of house , internet service was spotty ... there is no service ....and No land line for emergencies...so if you did have a emergency, it would be almost impossible to receive help.

Great place for a retreat
Perfect place to decompress from all the stress and rush of cities. Also, a good place for those needing a detox from their cell phone and WiFi. Locals are friendly and welcoming. I would recommend and visit again.

Summer Retreat
Beautiful, quiet setting. Large windows for very open feel. Unfortunately, windows, floor-to-ceiling, needed to be closed after dark, so no ventilation after dark. Needs towel racks to hang up wet towels in bathroom, and hooks somewhere in the house to hang up shirts and jackets.

Very nice
We had a great time here. It was clean, well put together, and out of the way. HIGHLY recommend you save offline maps, or get paper directions to any place you may want/need to visit (gas stations, restaurants, entertainment). You won't have cell service there. However, if you go to the end of the road and hike up the trail on the left a bit, you can find a little bit of service. Enough to get your GPS going, at least. Again, great time. It was exactly what we were looking for.

Wonderful Adirondack Getaway
We had a lovely time staying at the Pinnacle cabin! The location is great—with a good balance of seclusion and nature, while still being accessible and close to a decent-size town (Gloversville). You won’t even see/hear any of the neighbors and there is a trailhead just up at the end of the road—yet a big grocery store and other conveniences are less than a half hour drive away. The cabin is a perfect size for a couple, with all the basics you need for a short stay. It was plenty toasty in our winter stay, with adjustable heaters in addition to the log stove. The big main room windows are wonderful—just an amazing view of the woods, right outside. Some small things to keep in mind: as they mentioned, there is no wifi/internet, and we found no cellular coverage either—AT&T/T-Mobile reception was only as we got back into town, a half hour away. So be sure to download your directions beforehand! Verizon might be better. Also we went in the winter and had some snow, and both the road and driveway were regularly plowed after a few inches of snowfall. But we’d still recommend an SUV or truck on the mountain roads! Overall we had a wonderful stay and hope to go back there again. Recommended!
