"Quirky from the outside but nice inside. Comfortable and clean. We were in a room next to the pub so we didn’t have any noise except from guests using the hot tub and they quieted about 930. Only issue we had was it was warm so we wanted the windows open but the staff used the space by our window as a smoking area. We were able to open after they left for the night. Small nice kitchen with convenience store across the street that had basic groceries for all meals. "

"Lovely hotel, the staff were all friendly and courteous, beautiful room with river view, balcony and very comfy sitting area. Great breakfast, the food in dry dock bar was also lovely. The pool was great too. A really peaceful stay, would highly recommend it. Even with vents on it wasn't too noisy. "

"The waterford castle did not disappoint! Beautiful property, ferry ride over to the private island and a friendly staff ready to tell you all about the wallabies and deer that share the island! The castle is gorgeous and the food is fine dining at its best! It is a true old castle so expect authenticity and a minor reduction in modern day amenities, but also know it is absolutely worth it! This stay made our trip highly memorable!"
