"We was welcomed by loverly lady on re ception,always friendly time to chat made feel comfortable ,rooms spotless,loverly comfy bed ,loverly breakfast lady on there cheerful &chat with you nothing too much trouble would reccomend and would definitely stop there again it has got lot amenity also near by eateries, zoo not far ,Tank you for our loverly stay"

"The hotel was clean and well presented. The beds were comfortable and I liked that there was a mini fridge in the room for someone who has young kids that's great to pop some juice in past the usual tea and coffee. The bathroom was clean and tidy with no broken bits. We had a meal in the evening and that was amazingly nice and didn't break the bank. The staff were all friendly and very helpful and the breakfast was great quality and had a good selection. There was disabled parking right outside the reception which was a great. Only bit that was a downside for us on this trip was the swimming pool is 18+ my 9 year old was a little sad about that. But the place is clean the staff are great the food was lovely and it was a good chunk cheaper than bland chain hotels which are never as nice or as clean."

"We stayed in one of the feature rooms, the carpet was in areas threadbare, which I have never had in a nice hotel before) and behind the sofa the was dirt which had collected there for quite a while and that was threadbare as well, the room could do with a bit of a makeover and freshener up in the bathroom as there was black mold on shower door and tiles. Otherwise a lovely stay."

"we were put in a top floor room in the school masters house which unfortunately was closest to the main room which could noisy at times. Breakfast was good altho there seem better options on Saturday than Friday eg Fresh fruit/fruit salad. Staff in the Breakfast Room were attentive and worked were hard "

"Unfortunately, there was a student prom on that evening, so the noise was too much till late."

"The Lidl over the road was very handy. I tried adjusting the television and a toilet roll fell down from the bracket. No bath towel on the first night, just two hand towels. Staff were very helpful and friendly, breakfast was nice but the hotel could do with updating."
