Stayed at hotel as a good location for Funtasia waterpark in Drogheda. Only 12 mins away so great spot. The hotel is off the motorway with nothing else close by. If you want an evening meal you will either eating the hotel or drive into town. Nothing walkable. We had three people with special dietary needs and all we're pleased with their evening meal which is a rare occurrence!! Hotel is clean, modern and staff helpful. My only concern was the air conditioning. Our room was very hot as the AC didn't work. We were on the motorway side of the hotel so lots of car noise with the windows ajar. Top tip....make sure you get a room facing the car park rather than the motorway and check your AC works as soon as you check in.

The staff were very pleasant and helpful. The room was clean and comfortable. Only drawback was the meal ordered in restaurant. Ordered the roast beef, which was dry and tough. Very little gravy for the potatoes.

We were looking for a 24-hour desk because we weren’t sure when we would arrive. Check in was quick and easy. We were somewhat mystified by the gate when we drove in. You need a code to leave the lot and the code is posted everywhere. The room was huge with a large walk through closet and plenty of seating. Everything we needed was there, hot water kettle, coffee annd tea, and a safe. The kettle didn’t work but this was fixed after I told the desk. Bottled water was provided. There was a gas station nearby and the hotel was near the highway but very quiet. Breakfast had a lot of choices, although with a gluten free, dairy free diet, choices were limited. There was gf bread and a separate toaster but on the second day, there was no bread at all. I would recommend this hotel; we didn’t use the facilities but this is closer to what we’re used to.

Hotel is fine however not near anything else. All was ok however a very rowdy bunch outside the hotel caroused all night and pretty much kept everyone awake. I don’t think they were asked once to keep it down. Fine if you in to sleep and leave as ok for airport.

Great hotel for family stay

Great hotel for a family stay. Movie room for the kids where movies played at set times. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was good, but not the greatest. For the bacon you'll need very strong teeth. Coffee and tea is in urns, great if you like a very strong cup of tea. However, upon request a fresh cup will be made. All in all would definitely return.

Pros: Staff at reception pleasant. Room clean. Plenty of hot water. Free easy parking Cons: pillows hard, room basic with no fridge, restaurant Sunday food poor quality, tables/ cutlery/ glasses not very clean and service very poor. Caters for large tour buses at breakfast so other customers don’t get the service expected. Not really a 4 star hotel, more like a 3. Avoid the restaurant, much nicer places in nearby Duleek.

Stay w/people who take care when things go wrong

We had quite the interesting stay - the bathroom lock in our room broke, with my husband inside. Three staff members came promptly, were determined to get him out, and were very nice while they worked on the problem. I have no doubt that the lock malfunction was not due to any maintenance issue, but was just one of those things. Many thanks to all of those staff members, plus the one working the front desk who dispatched them and the day manager the next morning who made it right. I would definitely stay again because of them. And breakfast was delicious.

They have AC!!

Room had a double and 2 singles, the all important AC, and an elevator in the hotel. Room was comfortable and clean, and the shower had great power! Only improvement would be to have a drain plug that came up a little higher so it could keep up with the power of the shower and drain faster instead of pooling around the ankles. Nice that check out is noon, especially as we stayed here our first night and were still getting over the jetlag the next morning. Didn't get up in time to try the breakfast, but that's ok. Didn't hear any noise from other rooms. Must also give kuddos to whatever sports team pulled up at the same time as we did. I was worried they would be a noisy bunch, but never heard them, and when passed them during check in, the were all polite and well behaved young men. Good job parents and coaches! So different from past experiences back home in the US. Highly recommend!

This is a clean and well run property. The room was adequately sized, and the be was comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. The Circle K convenience store and Subway inside it are good options within easy walking distance for sundries and as an alternative to the restaurant. I would have like for them to have an exercise room.
