"the staff was friendly, the room clean but generic.. bathroom somewhat outdated but ok View of harbor spectacular, had a frig and Keurig in the room plus an iron and ironing board. but no safe. Bed very comfortable, Air conditioning worked well. No room service but had restaurant on the property. Parking lot at the hotel and location right on the harbor and convenient to shops and restaurants. Only complaint would be the tv.. very limited shows, mostly local stations.. no cable news or shows.. an old hotel and a little tired but All in all , a good value for the money. Great location!"

"The rooms were a bit dated. The staff was professional, courteous, and very helpful. Breakfast was good, but I thought it was a bit pricey. I never made it out to the balcony so I cannot make a comment."

"Indoor and outside dining and bar. Food was excellent. There was free shuttle service to downtown Newport and back, every half hour."

"I stayed at Holiday Inn because I had a wedding in Rhode Island. Check in was painless, we were able to check in earlier than expected. Front desk staff were very helpful and had answered any questions we had. The all you can eat breakfast was awesome, and the kitchen was so nice. The hotel was modern, and clean. No complaints at all, except for I wish the outside pool was useable!"

"I liked the property because it is close to Eaton’s Beach and the Cliff Walk. The room was exceptionally clean, and the amenities were great. The parking spot is very convenient. The staff was nice too. They let me check in early."
