"Location fantastic,staff very friendly, breakfast was great parking was ok too. The room was a big let down, I have stayed there before and said that the rooms looked tired and I was assured that they were being upgraded in January . Well my room showed no sign of that, the paint was peeling, the room was noisy, not helped by the fact that we couldn’t close the window. Gary Elelman 9-10 April"

"Beautiful property, everything you need and a lovely welcome pack. When we arrived the weather was awful but the oast was warm and inviting. Garden needed a cut back to make the most of the lovely view and the garden pond. Plenty of wildlife to see when on the patio in the evening. Lots of different levels internally making many sets of wooden stairs a consideration for older guests. The long rather lumpy drive to the house needed gentle negotiation."

"A lovely place to stay and very well equipped with all you need for a comfortable stay- a home from home. The Oast is in a quaint and quiet village and is very picturesque. We were a family of 4, 2 adults and 2 kids plus a dog, and we enjoyed local walks and ahort drives away to neighbouring towns, villages and the coast. "

"A beautiful little cottage with everything you need to stay. Very cosy and warm in a lovely setting with amazing views.My dog loved it here and was able to use the secluded field for a good run.I would advise if you are over 6 foot tall then the ceilings could be a problem? my husband hit his hand many times as they are so low.Also there are no foot paths on the roads so you are unable to go out for walks locally. You have to drive to find them or go into the towns .We had a problem with the electrics when we arrived, the owner popped over as soon as I messaged her and fixed the issue. Very helpful and kind."

"We had a lovely stay in the Oast at the end of july. The weather conditions were perfect, so we enjoyed the swimming pool en garden very much.The house is lovely, spacious and everything we need was there. Patrick and Linda made us feel comfortable and welcome. We will return!"

"Beautiful, clean home with excellent modern conveniences and almost everything we could possibly need! Upstairs bed was more comfortable than downstairs one. Kitchen well equipped for cooking. Could have done with some washcloths, Kleenex, and maybe some laundry detergent but we managed to get those items in Tenterden so not a big deal. Loved being able to walk into town for breakfasts at The Old Post Office, as well as basic grocery supplies from the small shop and butcher. Pubs in village were OK but kitchens were closed so not a lot of immediate dining options. That said, Ashford, Tenterden and surrounding areas were easily accessible by car with great shops and restaurants and we were even able to get delivery from UberEats when we didn’t want to drive anywhere.Overall a fantastic stay in nearly every way."
