"I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. I’ve decided this is where I’ll stay every time I’m in New Orleans. My only suggestion is adding bacon to the breakfast lineup lol and encourage housekeeping to not discard things without knowing if it’s trash. Other than that the hospitality was amazing!"

"Do not stay at this property. The front desk staff whom was a man kept announcing everyone’s room number outloud. This is a motel where escorts work and the pictures are deceiving. The breakfast was nonexistent and there were bugs all over the floor in my room. The scariest part of my experience was receiving a conjoined room and waking up at 4 am to sounds of someone trying to enter my room. As soon as I turned the lights on the noises stopped and whoever was in the room next to me left. I told the man at the front desk that someone tried to get into my room and he said “who was it? You didn’t look out the window” i immediately checked out and lost money on a room they was not safe."

"This was the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Doubletree! We had someone walk into our room at 2:45 am… they gave our room away!!! The bathroom sink leaked all night long and the place wasn’t all that clean… when we tried to talk with the morning staff about this they were RUDE! Never again!!!"

"Easy to find property. Convenient to amazing National WWII museum in New Orleans. Convenient parking. Did not use outdoor pool. Staff was friendly and helpful. Last property remodel was 2016 so anticipate some small cosmetic updates are needed for the property. No GF gluten free bread options at breakfast available during our stay. "

"The bathroom faucet was not functioning properly and kept leaking constantly. There was no internet access in the room I stayed in, even though internet access is part of my work. When I asked to change rooms because of this, I was advised to sit on the couch in the reception area and handle my work there instead. In a room meant for two people, there is only one chair. If two people want to eat, one of them basically has to sit on the bed. The bed had clearly been moved before, with drill holes left visible on the walls, some lamps were not working, and the ventilation was so poor that there was a constant mold smell in the air you could breathe in all day. These are not exaggerations — just the ordinary flow of services at this hotel."

"The lady that checked me in was nice, but unfortunately that was the only positive part of my stay. The rest of the staff had very unwelcoming attitudes. The room had a strong mildew smell, and the building itself felt very outdated. Only one elevator was working, and it took forever to get anywhere. The next morning around 9:30 a.m., while I was still sleeping, the cleaning lady knocked on the door and then let herself in before I could answer. I told her we didn’t need anything and that we were not checking out until Monday morning. Despite that, she knocked and opened the door two more times afterward, which was very frustrating and invasive. I also witnessed one of the front desk attendants being rude to another customer. To make matters worse, there was a roach crawling across the door in the room. Overall, this was not a pleasant experience, and I would not stay here again."
