"I only stayed one night and arrived late, so this reflects a limited experience. 1. Airport shuttle: Great service and availability. Timing can vary, so don’t cut it too close—plan for possible delays with unexpected traffic issues out of their control. 2. Staff: Despite a busy 9pm check-in, the front desk moved quickly and remained friendly. When my key stopped working, it was reset promptly and courteously. Also, they had a smile on their face the entire time, which I know is sometimes hard to do in stressful situations and rushes of check-ins. 3. Room: I had the superior 2 queen. The room had plenty of space and was clean to the eye. The bedding was nice and clean; however, the pillows were not pillows, but just pillow cases with bedding inside of them, so kind of weird to sleep on. The room had a musty smell, and all four of us experienced sinus issues overnight that cleared after leaving the room. 4. On-site restaurant: The property is shared with a 24x7 IHOP, which was really nice considering our late night arrival. Overall, it was a nice stay. It is an old hotel, but they maintain it well and the staff was great. It has a great location just a few minutes from the airport. I personally would not have an extended stay here, but quick one or two nighters are great."

The staff went out of their way to be helpful, especially Rishi on the front desk who went out of her way to help us sort out an issue with our flight check in which was a huge help. "The hotel location is perfect, close to everything in Union Square. However the guest overnight parking is $67 which is outrageous. I don’t care how expensive the city is. They should at least give a discount to the guest."

"This hotel is dated and not worth the price that they charge. Had to have them fix the toilet twice and have them fix the sink because it wasn’t draining. The sink shouldn’t have drainage issues at this price and management should check these things. Wallpaper peeling. I get that it’s a historic hotel but I would stay somewhere else. Old school charm is fine but not at their rates. Time has passed this hotel by."
