Nice hotel

A nice stay for two days in Hamburg. Close to buses and trains for a ride to the city central. Extra plus that it’s free to charge your electric car when you pay for parking

The rooms were decent. Very clean. The hotel itself was great with a very large dining area for breakfast and a small bar for alcohol. The only thing was in the description it says it has a laundry facility for its guests. It does not. But the staff were quick to show me where one was and it was a shade under 3km. Not a big deal but a bit of a p!ss off. Still great place highly recommend

It was really inconvenient to get there from the S1 train. I booked this cos it say it’s 30 min from the airport. On the day we arrived we had such a hard time getting from the train to the street with our luggage. It’s like 3 stores high with no elevator or escalators. We ended up taking a cab to the airport on the day we fly home cos it was just too much trouble getting from the hotel to S1 and get up on those stairs. Then the hotel is another thing. I booked two rooms together but they put us in two different floors. Two of the people traveling is seniors with limited mobility. This caused us a lot of inconvenience. Then on the first night I see there were no tissue in the box , I asked at the reception 3 times but till the day I checked out which is 4 days later, I still did not receive any tissue. The rooms were not freshen up until the 3rd day. Which is just ridiculous. We had to pull our own trash and asked at the reception for someone to come to take it . There is not place for me to up load pictures here. Otherwise I can upload the pictures I took.
From Sept 18 to 22 still empty even though I requested 3 times
Checked in on 18 but room was only barely refreshed on the 20. One and only time in 4 days stay
Trash was overflowing and we had to pull it out ourselves

Room was full with smoke and cold - without heat, when arriving, window open, Wlan code was displayed wrong on TV => thus no internet, personal said problem was widely know, but remained unsolved, due to overheads not listening, heating was not properly working, could be in general a proper location for a basic stay, if problems would be ustainably solved

Don´t get me wrong, this is a nice hotel. Trendy and up to date. Self check-in works well, well-appointed room with all amenities. There was some damage at the door on the inside, i thought that this quiet time could have been used to fix minor problems like that. Maybe a question of communication between housekeeping and maintainance? There is no real restaurant in the hotel but for the tired and hungry traveller who arrives late (such as myself) there is friendly bar staff who offer various pizzas and they are good. So that was another travel inconvenience that Super8 took away, thanks for that guys. Also, good beer recommendation. The only issue i had was sleep. The pillows just seem to thin or perhaps they were filled with some other stuffing than down or feathers. I kept waking up in an uncomfortable position with both arms tingling. Mattress / pillow / sleep temperature etc. are personal things, perhaps it is only me. If the hotel would improve the pillows i would come back every time. It´s a fine hotel with good staff in a good area, and a happy place to spend the night. Compliments to the reception and bar staff who seem to understand the concept of hospitality.

Schönes recht großes Zimmer. Allerdings kein Zimmerservice bei zwei Übernachtungen, ohne dass man darauf hinweisen hat (oder zumindest nicht so, dass wir es gesehen hätten). Großes Frühstücksbuffet mit großer Auswahl, aber nicht alles war warm. Es war aber auch ziemlich viel los. Für den Preis und in Hamburg aber in Ordnung

Das Personal war freundlich. Lage gut. Aber unser Zimmer wurde zwischendurch nicht gereinigt und es gab keine frischen Handtücher. Diese haben wir uns an der Rezeption holen müssen und wurden aus einem Haufen im Schrank gezerrt. Das Frühstück war ok, lieblos und mit 16€ für das Angebot total überteuert. Ich würde das Hotel für meinen nächsten Besuch in Hamburg leider nicht wieder buchen.

Preis war in Ordnung Leider kein Schrank oder sonst ein Platz für Kleidung ausser ein paar Kleiderbügel. Wenn man länger im Hotel bleibt echt mühsam. Bad könnte saubere sein. Ein exrem starker Raumduft, wenn man empfindlich ist bekommt man Kopfschmerzen.
