Hi Robert, I am glad you had a good stay, but sorry you found the Nespresso Coffee Machine instructions difficult, we will look at these to see if they can be simplified beyond those provided by Nespresso.With regards to the Double Shower, these have non slip bases, but I can appreciate if the Molton Brown Shower Gel or Shampoo gets onto the floor it may make it sloppy, whilst we provide linen bath mats for the bathroom floor, vinyl ones for the shower present challenges with hygiene and slippiness if not secured properly. With regards to the checkout time it is 11am, this would’ve been in our confirmation and in the room welcome pack. I will check the details in Expedia to see if there is an issue.See you again soon

Hi Teresa,I'm glad you had a good stay and pleased you enjoyed the restaurant and the spectacular views.I am sorry you were disturbed by the birthday party, we had upgraded you into as Superior Double room away from the event at the rear of the building an area that is quite soundproofed from our Downs Suite. I can only assume that because it was a hot night windows were open and the sound travelled. Any guests who we expected to be disturbed by the night had been notified at the point of booking, so I am sorry for that.We hope to see you again and will arrange a room upgrade next time if we are able. Hi Pritpal, thank you for staying with us.you booked our Superior Double room of which there is only one with a garden view, so I am sorry you thought it had a hill view. Our Junior Suite & Honeymoon Suite and one of our Superior King Rooms have hillside views for future bookings.With regards to breakfast, there is a full menu of main course options beyond the full English, but as you rightly say there is a fixed price for breakfast of 12.50 per person which we feel is reasonable and comparable to other venues in the area. Bed & Breakfast inclusive packages are always available from the hotel.If you come again, the team can always answer any questions during your stay and ensure you have a great time,

Hi Chris,Glad to hear you had a great stay, we've just had a new bioclimatic pergola installed on the terrace as well now so its all weather (which it needs to be for the UK!). If you stay with us again, can I suggest the Junior Suite as whist it is still in the 17th Century side of the building it is has double height ceilings, whereas the Superior King has very charming beams, but designed for the smaller frame of the post Elizebethan era (the first time!).

Hi Lorraine, Thank you for your feedback, the bedroom was refreshed last year with new decor, carpets and furniture. The bathroom is being refurbished in a few weeks, hence why the cost of this room is lower than our other superior rooms. With regards to a room upgrade, we only have 12 rooms and all were full on the night, hence this was not possible.
