Irelands Farm cottage, in rural setting ideal for exploring central England

Lily Cottage is a converted farm building offering cosy, individually styled accommodation with exposed beams. It retains its delightful courtyard setting adjacent to the old farmhouse. The cottage accommodates 4 people and offers wheelchair access and extra wide doors on the ground floor.

Here you can enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside whilst being just 20 minutes' drive from Shakespeare's Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick Castle. In addition, there is easy access to the motorway network, Birmingham City shopping centre and the National Exhibition Centre, making this the perfect location for family breaks, NEC exhibitors, house movers or house renovation and relaxed sight seeing.

The cottage provides direct access onto two public footpaths, one leading to the canal side Public House in Lowsonford and one that crosses the fields to the pretty village of Henley-in-Arden with its pubs, restaurants and the well known Henley Ice Cream Parlour.

To the ground floor of Lily Cottage is a carpeted sitting/dining room with TV and Wi-Fi, kitchen with microwave, cooker, refrigerator and washing machine and a single bedroom with ensuite shower and toilet (wheelchair accessible)

Upstairs there are two bedrooms, one double and one single. A Z-bed can be set up in the single bedroom for an additional person. Linen and towels are provided.

Outside there is a shared garden for guest to enjoy and two allocated parking spaces.
Well behaved pets are welcome. Please inform the owners at the time of booking.

Enjoy the peace and tranquility of the countryside whilst being just 20 minutes’ drive from Shakespeare’s Stratford-upon-Avon and Warwick Castle.
Step out immediately onto one of two public footpaths, either to the canal side Public House in Lowsonford, or walk across the fields to the nearby pretty village of Henley-in-Arden which offers pubs, restaurants and the well known Henley Ice Cream Parlour.
There is easy access to the motorway network, Birmingham and the N.E.C.
The farm was originally tenanted to Robert Ireland following its sale to raise funds for Robert Catesby, leader of the Gunpowder Plot conspirators in 1605. This historical setting amidst fields and woodlands is a perfect place to unwind and relax.

Lily Cottage accommodates 4 people (5 with additional Z bed) and is set on a working arable farm nestling round a central courtyard of cottages.
It is individually styled offering Wheel chair access and extra wide doors on the ground floor.
Linen, towels, central heating and Wi-Fi are inclusive. The cottage is carpeted with central heating. Living areas have TV and Wi-Fi. Kitchens are equipped with microwave, cooker, refrigerator and washing machine and bedrooms have duvets and bed/bath linen. There is a shared garden area for guests to enjoy and two allocated parking spaces.
Well behaved Pets are welcome, it is necessary to inform the owners at the time of booking.

Note...It is possible to book shorter breaks, our minimum stay is 3 nights.

Had a lovely stay. Cottage was very cosy and well equipped. Could do with updating but perhaps that’s part of its charm.

Suited us perfectly
My wife and I, plus our adult son stayed in the cottage and would happily recommend to others. Our son needs wheelchair access and the accommodation was perfect for him.

A week in Warwickshire
We enjoyed our week in an Ireland’s Farm cottage. Stephanie the owner welcomed us and made us feel at home. The cottage was well equipped, and in a lovely part of rural Warwickshire.

Peaceful and Welcoming (Lily Cottage)
As a family of two adults and three children, we stayed at Irelands Farm Cottages in Lily Cottage for a long weekend whilst attending a wedding. We loved our time in the cottage and had a relaxing few days away. The cottage is homely and welcoming and Stephanie is an incredibly friendly and accommodating host, quick to sort any issues. We stayed as a family, including three under 5s. There was provision of a high chair and travel cot but just to note the cottage isn’t kitted out for children. Our children were somewhat restless and the cottage would benefit from having just a couple of books and games added for entertainment, whether on rainy days or in the mornings/evenings. The only downside of our stay was that the mattress in the double bedroom was incredibly uncomfortable. We stayed in Lily cottage as it’s kitted out for those with mobility issues, which was fantastic for the bathroom (a difficult find with holiday cottages!) but the mattress caused the chronic pain in my back to flare up badly and my husband too complained of a bad back after a couple of nights. Apart from that little negative, we had a wonderful time and loved our stay, thank you!
