"Lovely hotel, fantastic location, local staff, so doesn’t feel like a chain. Stay only spoiled by one idiot who felt the need to be swearing loudly after his meal, (the c word is unacceptable anywhere), while sitting at the bar in the restaurant. Young team leader tried her best, but the absence of a senior manager on a Saturday night to throw the fool out was a great shame."

"This wonderful house has been well modified and offers an exceptional vacation experience. It has a true home from home comfort. Two lounges. one boasting a red telephone box and the other with an amazing LG 85" TV with Sky services. The pool is large, very well maintained with the water heated and crystal clear. The three of us, including our 14 year old grandson, had a blissful 8 nights which he spent hours in the top end hot tub located in a secluded corner of the huge gardens. Like all youngsters, within minutes our grandson had his phone connected to the built in speakers.The only possible negative point to note is that there is some traffic noise from the road outside. This was a little more pronounced as we had the windows wide open because of the heatwave. But the double glazed windows closed eliminated most of it. The views are spectacular!Finally, the hosts, Peter and his wife are really friendly and attentive. Nothing was too much trouble.We highly recommend this property."

"It was a quaint building, the rooms were of a good size, very clean, with a tv & everything you could want, plenty of tea & coffee etc, with extras if needed, our bathroom was across a very small corridor, but it was just ours & they supply robes for you to use. Nicky & Philip were great hosts & accommodated us arriving a bit earlier, which was much appreciated. Breakfast was fantastic, a big table laden with fruit, homemade muesli, yogurt, local, honey & pastries & then a choice of what you want from a full English, it was all delicious. It was perfect for our one night stay"

"Very nice house, with very friendly owners. All facilities are there, and very clean and tidy. Although the house, garden and surroundings are very dog friendly, please note that it is not allowed to leave the dog unattended at the house. Probably good to know upfront."

"Immaculately clean, nicely decorated and well-equipped cottage in a lovely peaceful location. We particularly enjoyed the alpacas in the field at the bottom of the garden. A few dishwasher tabs would have been nice, but tbh we weren't expecting a dishwasher in the first place! (also a washing machine, which we didn't use but always good to have with kids!). The books and games are a nice touch. Exceeded expectations."

"We had a wonderful two-night stay here as a birthday present and couldn't recommend it more.Sam is a fantastic host with excellent communication before and during our stay. The property was easy to find, check-in was straightforward, and Sam popped over when we arrived to show us around and explain everything we needed to know.The accommodation is much more spacious than we expected and is very well equipped. The bed was really comfortable, the shower was hot and powerful, and the views from the balcony are beautiful. We especially appreciated the little extras, including the Smart TV, dishwasher (with tablets provided), and a cafetière with proper ground coffee rather than instant. When we needed a couple of extra kitchen items, Sam was more than happy to lend them to us.The hot tub was a real highlight and made for a perfect way to relax after exploring the area. There are lovely walks nearby, and there's a cute village just a short distance away with a great little coffee shop. The selection of books and board games was also a nice touch for cosy evenings in.The accommodation is a beautifully converted garage with a lovely balcony nestled amongst the trees, giving it a peaceful, woodland feel. Although there are other guests staying on the property, once you're in your own space it feels completely private, and we hardly saw anyone during our stay. It really does feel like a little escape into nature.As an added bonus, the friendly cats and dogs around the proper"

"We had a wonderful stay. Sam couldn't have been a better host. The hut is well equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view, beauty and tranquility of the area is to die for. The location is also fab for exploring, whether you want to drive to any of the local villages, or take a trip to the coast (we especially enjoyed our days out in Battle and Rye/Camber Sands. Evenings sitting in the hot tub were also very appreciated! All in all, very relaxing and highly recommended. Thank you Sam for letting us stay at your lovely home"
