"Private secluded property; rustic but had all we needed. The bed was so comfortable, had two nights of great rest. Short drive to the park entrance and several options for dining. Stop at the general store in Volcano Village for sandwiches for your day in the park-easily one of the tastiest sandwiches we’ve ever had. Great stay, will be back!"

"Hosts replied quickly to all of our messages. Any issues we had were addressed right away. Very lovely people. Enjoyed relaxing on the deck watching the rain fall. Had 2 little geckos on the deck which were fun to watch. Very close to food shopping and an excellent chiropractor, Clear Chiropractic. Nice to have a pool right next to the house. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were there with my sister and her husband so the 2 bedrooms with ensuites were perfect. Laundry pods and dryer sheets were included."

"This place is very rural. Katherine is a very nice host.The unit itself is about 10 ft by 20ft. The inside table for dining is in the photo with a glass top. There are two stools, a coffee maker, a small fridge, and a Queen-sized bed on a platform. The mattress was very comfortable. It might be a bit challenging for older guests to get on the bed. There is an outside table with umbrella and chairs. The stove and sink with utensils and crockery are on a prep surface outside of the bedroom. The bathroom is a separate facility with a toilet, sink with a mirror, and an open shower. Hot water is not an issue as there's a tankless water heater on the outside of the building. As a nearby diversion there is a disc golf course downthe road.We enjoyed our 4 nights.It was a real benefit to be able to have our 2 cats welcomed to stay with us. "
