"All the staff we encountered were polite and helpful. The “Grand” queen rooms compact and I believe only a couple bed. Bed and Room were very comfortable. Main window had a perfect blackout curtain but very long side window only had a blind which just covered the window and had a constant glow around it all night. The bathroom was beautifully decorated and everything worked well. Only exception was the towel rail which was permanently only full and made the whole main room very hot. Luckily I’m a cold person but my partner did struggle with the heat. Also a strange smell which smelt like smoke. Overall I would stay again but would pay more attention to the things mentioned and inform reception earlier. Great location for exploring as close to tube. "

"The Laslett is a lovely boutique hotel in the charming Notting Hill neighborhood. The tube is just around the corner and you are close to Portobello Road with all its wonderful cafes and restaurants. On Saturdays there is a very fun market on Portobello Road. "

"I have been going to London for over 40 years. I know my way around a d the various neighborhoods. This hotel and staff are the best I've had. Great breakfast ordered from a menu to start tha day. The roomsa are spacious with a coffee pod and kettle. Also a frig with mineral water is a nice bonus. Several tube lines within 10 minutes also. Lovely area near Holland Park. Rooms are quiet, no noise from the pub. No elevators though. Planning on coming back in November. Chicago Brian"

"Lovely room, big andcomfortable, friendly staff and clean, short walk to shops and restaurants in Notting Hill gate. Breakfast times need to be advised on hotels.com, I paid extra, but was told on arrival that it wasn't served till 8 am, no good when on business trip, was able to get some pastries up the road but wouldn't have paid the extra if I'd known. They offered to see if they could do it early, but I wouldn't have known until the morning. Otherwise very happy with the stay."

"Needed a warmer quilt, room was cold but very clean and well supplied with the drinking items, showing items and clean towels. Very friendly staff. My room was right at the front of the property, so was really loud with people coming and going"
