"My family had a wonderful stay at this lovely hotel. The staff are extremely friendly and inviting. The breakfast was delicious with many options daily from fresh eggs to home style waffles. The pool was clean and a place where many guest relaxed after spending time in the nearby parks. Our room was spectacularly clean, the housekeeping definitely takes pride in their work and it shows. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you’re traveling to starved rock or Matthiessen state parks. "

" this is an older motel but very clean. No roaches, no evidence of bed bugs. The tub drained quickly. The AC kept the room cool. Breakfast every morning was what you would expect but those waffles were amazing. Only draw back, the pillows. I would stay there again "
