"Overall the place was comfortable and fun. Granted it was the off season time, but it would've been nice if the putt-putt course was open as the weather was very good outside. The waterpark was enjoyable, although the wave pool was not working but we were still able to swim in the area so not a complete loss. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The hotel and water park could definitely use an update but did not in any way hinder our fun. I would suggest for anyone going to make sure you are paying attention to season/off season hours for all amenities for the hotel and waterpark. "

"My family and I had an amazing 2 days/2 nights here. The place was super clean and honestly a lot bigger than the photos. It’s huge for a family of 4. We also brought our dog there’s huge grass area and parking lots for walks and play time. Nicole was an incredible host as well. Super responsive to my questions and provided all the info I needed. We’ll def be renting properties from her in the future. "

"The place was wonderful! Very clean. The hot tub and fire place was a hige plus. The kitchen was stocked with all necessities. The beds were a bit harder than we liked, but that's a personal preference. The biluilding letters are hard to find and see in the dark, especially in the rain. My gps did not take me directly to the right building. But we eventually found it. I do recommend to map out which building you are in, if youre arriving in the dark. "

"Very responsive host but the place itself had issues. Leaky dishwasher, ants on the first floor and a nonworking fireplace. "

"This space was so perfect for our family of four. The teenagers and adults each had plenty of space for individual activities and as a group we had plenty of space for board games, watching a show, having dinner together, cooking, or anything else that came to mind! Location was perfect for access to Starved Rock State Park and other nearby hiking areas. We appreciated having two full bathrooms, laundry access, and also all the dishes, coffee maker, toaster and amenities we could wish for to make some meals ourselves. We didn’t discover the game cupboard til our last day there but brought our own with us anyway. We had a great time in this space and I already posted a link to it for my Facebook friends in case they also want to come to this area! I also want to mention that the communication with our host was top notch and he was very responsive! Thank you for an amazing stay!"
