Drove up and parked near the Griffith Observatory at the bottom and walked up the hill to Griffith observatory, which is meant to be the best view. But it still looks very far away. We should have walked up the other road instead, the one that is closed to cars but if you park up you can walk up it.

Go to lake hollywood park in an uber. From there just head up the short hill round the bend and there is the sign with a large boulder to stand on. Its so simple. To get uber back if you cant get a signal. Wait for an uber dropping someone off and ask driver to take you back. Pay cash. Thats what we did.
