"The house was great and in perfect condition. Great location as it is 3 min from the Inari shrine and close to the train station which is always helpful. Nothing to complain about except 1 thing: there was no pool table as shown on the photos and we were not told about it. "Not what we expected from a 5 star hotel. Having travelled round Japan and stayed at some lovely hotels this was by far the worst. Despite good reviews we had seen I would not recommend this. We booked a double room but the bed was not even big enough for a child and wasn’t a double. We had to pay to upgrade to what was a slightly better room. Although every time you went to the bathroom in the night the lighting the room automatically and on. The luggage storage was tiny and hard to get too. The breakfast was very average. The omelette you had to put a number in for and I asked for it to be cooked more 15 mins later after repeatedly getting up to see if it was ready and I had eaten the rest of the breakfast it wasn’t cooked and was cold. Awful system and not relaxing. We had to ask for food to be replenished and the tables were just left without being cleared. Poor service and poor hotel from start to finish. "
