Market Street Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A world class hotel, hidden in central Edinburgh. Property is fantastic, and the showers are probably worth a visit just for them!"

Apex Waterloo Place Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"The staff was helpful and friendly. Location was perfect for either public transit or walking the city. The property was clean and offered lots of amenities. I would definitely stay here again."

Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"We truly enjoyed our stay at the Apex City of Edinburgh Hotel. The staff were very attentive and helpful, and helped arrange a surprise (cake and balloons) for my wife's birthday. The room was large by European standards and the bathroom was elegant, well equipped, and also very spacious. The bed was extremely comfortable and we appreciated the extras (slippers and robe) and a welcome plate of fruit and chocolates. The only negatives were the condition of some very easily remedied aspects of our room and property. The hotel was a little dated and needed refreshing in some areas. For example, although not terrible, our room needed a fresh coat of paint and the carpets could use cleaning. Also a sofa in a common area on our floor was completely worn and in need of replacement. With a few of these updates this could become a 5 Star hotel across the board. All in all, it was a good experience and I would consider returning on another stay in Edinburgh."

Virgin Hotels Edinburgh

10/10 Excellent

"We absolutely loved our stay at this hotel! Everything was exceptionally clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The staff was wonderful—always friendly, welcoming, and eager to help with anything we needed. The location was fantastic, with so many attractions, shops, and restaurants nearby, making it easy to explore and enjoy our trip. The hotel was worth every penny and truly made our visit even more memorable. Our only regret is that we didn’t have enough time to experience everything the area has to offer! We enjoyed ourselves so much that we’re already planning a return trip in the next few years. We highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!"

Mount Royal Hotel Edinburgh by The Unlimited Collection

10/10 Excellent

"Great location, really stylish especially for the price. The wee double room was basic in amenities but thoughtfully decorated and had what you need, spotless too! It was definitely wee but perfect for one person and more than suitable for two if you’re happy to be cosy! They accommodated bag storage and late check out without a fuss and were friendly and helpful."

Holiday Inn Edinburgh Zoo by IHG

8/10 Good

"Excellent bar area, helpful staff, breakfast great selection and hot. Rooms acceptable, bus service outside hotel into city centre really useful and convenient"

Village Hotel Edinburgh

10/10 Excellent

"Rooms clean, but needed some maintenance. Breakfast amazing, gym and pool amazing. Great parking!! Would advise to stay here. It's great especially with kids ."
