A lovely place to stay

A lovely comfortable apartment. Well equipped kitchen with coffee maker and kettle. Even supply tea towel, washing up liquid and dishcloth. Specious and friendly owner. Beautiful countryside around. Handy for visiting Salzburg.

Parking was touch and go. Needed to park early. Front staff helpful and accommodating. Nice outdoor swimming lake nearby. Dining options somewhat limited. Very nice woman sold rolls/bread in lobby in a.m.

Language

The property was easy to find and access. The room was clean and comfy. The biggest problem with the place was that they only had one English speaking employee. And if he wasnt there, you were out of luck. They were friendly and tried to communicate, but didnt work. Thank goodness i had one of those little translator units. And it worked. But the one thing i certainly did not like was the cleaner wanting to come in and clean, my room before check out time and before i was ready to leave. Thats never happened to me before and i did not like that.

Disappointing

I'll start with the positives - the sauna and the pool were excellent. Inzell is a nice little town with marvellous scenery and some good restaurants. Despite there being spare rooms, I was given one of the pokey ones. The kitchenette is very basic - one has to pay more for a toaster etc. There was a bucket on the stairs for four days to catch drops from a roof leak, though it was being repaired as I left. My biggest "disappointment" was caused by my computer being unable to connect to the incredibly slow wireless (my phone did). I politely asked (in German) the Chap on Reception if the Router could be briefly switched on and off and was greeted with a loud, indignant "Nein" and a volley of "rhetoric". I suggested that he sued whichever charm school taught him his customer engagement skills but I'll not return to find out...

A great family oriented building with a large green space. The kitchen is small but very functional. A great home base for an amazing area with lots of day trip options. The village is small and peaceful.

We hadden een appartement op de begane grond, met een deur naar buiten naar het grasveld met speeltoestellen, super voor onze kinderen. Het appartement was fijn qua indeling en compleet, we konden er ook zelf koken. We voelden ons gelijk thuis. Ook was het er schoon. Pakeren kan voor de deur. Moet wel zeggen dat wanneer het hotel volgeboekt is, ook de parkeerplaats heel vol staat Smorgens is er in het hotel een bakker met verse broodjes, croissants etc. Het appartementencomplex ligt op ongeveer 45 minuten van Berchtesgaden, 40 minuten van Salzburg, het rijden in de omgeving is geweldig. We kregen van het hotel kaartjes. Deze kaartjes konden we bij verschillende activiteiten in de buurt gebruiken voor gratis toegang. Denk aan kabelbaantjes, zwembaden, museums etc. Echt super leuk!

Super Service hat immer unseren Wünsche umgesetzt. Bus vor der Tür. Man erhält sogar einen Chiemgau Pass mit den man umsonst die öffentlichen benutzen kann und außerdem viele Gutscheine für kostenlosen Aktivitäten.
