Crowne Plaza Belfast by IHG
10/10 Excellent
"The rooms were great. There's a spa/pool, but we weren't there enough to access. The restaurant and lounge were very comfortable - Annie, in the restaurant, made our day! She ensured we tried foods at the buffet, had great stories and cared! The lounge area had music (person w/guitar) and all of our food was great. This was in an area of Belfast I hadn't seen before - hidden! We took a cab to go into the city proper which was really only 5-10 min. Well worth staying here."
"The Haslem is an excellent choice Hotel to stay if you are visiting this area or Belfast, the stay was wonderful, the included breakfast was fantastic, the proximity to the local train station to get Downtown Belfast was easy and walking distance away, I would recommend this place and would definitely stay here again. Thank You for a excellent stay,, 5 Star!"
"Great staff, friendly, professional and helpful. It was a very busy hotel and area with many people staying for The Open and the staff appeared to keep everything running smoothly!"
"We were very happy with this rental property. The back garden area is spacious with a nice view. The kitchen has modern appliances and a table to seat our family of 6. Room sizes were spacious and comfortable. "

Founded in 1981, Hilden Brewery in Lisburn is the oldest independent brewery in Ireland. It is to be found in the grounds of Hilden House, a Georgian manor once home to the Barbour linen company. Here it was that Thomas Andrews, ill-fated designer of the Titanic (the ship left from Belfast, 15 minutes up the road), was married to a Barbour sister. To mark the regeneration of Belfast’s riverside Titanic Quarter, a special pale ale was commissioned from the brewery. Other prominent guests at the house have included William Wordsworth and Edward VIII.
