Stunning location, 10 out of 10 for the views. The lodge was nice albeit quite basic in facilities. We had two issues with our stay, one was that in the run-up to our stay I wrote two emails to the owners with requests for information and didn't receive any replies which was quite frustrating and poor communication. Secondly, one of the guests brought their dog and then left it in their room whilst they drank downstairs so we were kept up from 1-3 am on one of our nights by the dog's crying and pawing from within the owner's bedroom door. I was unable to find a member of staff to assist with this and needless to say it ruined our night's sleep!

This hunting lodge really is wonderful. Co located at a salmon smoking business, necessitate fresh smoked salmon for breakfast

The lodge is on a bluff overlooking a majestic white sand beach. Although it is an older property and guests must share a bathroom, it is a unique and fun place to stay. The rooms were clean, and the beds very comfortable. The views of the beach were amazing. The staff were very kind and helpful, and our stay was supplemented by them with free coffee/tea and cakes on arrival. Food was excellent. I will stay here again!

Our visit to Uig Lodge was wonderful. A beautiful country house hotel in a stunning location and with friendly staff. We were looked after so well. We felt more like friends than guests.
