"This hotel is a real gem. Large rooms with balconies all overlooking Isola Bella. Breakfast was big and lots of variety. The staff were so helpful, Gabrielle the bar man couldnt have looked after us any better and made our stay so much more enjoyable. Also, the recption staff who did so much to help us when our flights were cancelled and we had to travel to mainland Italy to get a flight. They worked out the train and ferry timetables, helped us book tickets and made what was a very stressful time initially much less so. Would absolutely recommend this hotel."

"So, we booked this hotel because of the location near Isola Bella. Hotel is not updated, does not have parking, although there is paid parking lot adjacent but not connected to property and only open 8:30am to 7:00pm. Cars/motorcycles noise all day/night, and very limited parking to even get your luggage on and off, your car or taxi, and no walkway to walk to funicular/beach: you have to walk in the street with cars/motorcycles speeding by your side. For me it was stressful. Funicular to the nice Corso Umberto Street is 5 blocks away and costs $8 euros each way. All that said, if you booked any sea view room, from your balcony you have one of the best views of Isola Bella island and the hotel was walking distance to the beach. We ended up staying another night in Taormina, but we moved to a great hotel near Corso Umberto street with another great view but near restaurants, shopping, splendid views and attractions."

"The hotel was new and modern. Had all the amenities. A draw back was a very expensive taxi ride to Taormino and back again. The area was not really in a great walkable area although we did walk to a nearby beach about a mile away or so. The hotel did not have a beach or a beach shuttle which I thought I read they did. Disappointing. The beach club we went to had beds and umbrellas at a cost of course. The hotel rep said theirs was closed but all the others were still open. Not sure what that was about."
