"We had a great time at this B&B. The owner is wonderful and nothing was too much trouble. The pool was very nice and needed at the end of a long hot day. The only negative thing I can think of is that there are a lot of insects about, so take some repellent."

"This hotel is in an old palazzo, refitted to be small apartments. Ours had a bedroom and kitchen with a table for four. But no sitting area... there was one adjacent to our apartment but open to all guests. Also, they don't warn you that there is a 40 euro charge for using the kitchen. "Es war ein wunderschöner Urlaub!! Wir haben dass erste Mal „Glamping“ ausprobiert und sind mehr als begeistert. Die Häuschen sind in einem sehr guten Zustand und es war auch alles sauber. Die Familie auf dessen Grundstück die Häuser stehen, sind soooo nett und gastfreundlich :-) Ich kann es wirklich jedem ans Herz legen, der kein Fan von Hotels etc. ist. Jederzeit wieder! :-) "

"Torre Marabino was fabulous! Great location for travelling around the area. Lovely clean room. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and varied. Dinner was superb. "place okay. Bit early in season. Everything at the accommodation closed at 7pm. Didn’t open again until breakfast at 0730am. Nowhere else to hang as main reception area closed at 1930so confined to pokey room or outside in cold. We were offered a bigger better room at an extra 20e a night on check in which came over as ours was bit rubbish! -which it was ! It was a 15 min drive to Avola on a dodgy road. Little to see in Avola - sea front area was ok but little there due to time of year. Room...
