"A very well equiped property which met all our expectations internally with fresh, clean decor and equipment. It is situated within a short drive of supermarkets and a short walk from a local pub serving meals, which was also a bonus. Our hosts were easy to contact and provided a welcome hamper on arrival. We were advised to reverse into the drive which was sometimes tricky due to other traffic on the road, although it would be impossible/dangerous to reverse out. The bifold doors at the rear were a very positive feature as they provided a lovely open aspect to the natural world of the garden. However the very close proximity of the neighbour's garden and the work being done on the rear of the house, especially quite early on some mornings did compromise our privacy."

"Lovely cottage set around a courtyard of a few properties with its own private garden and patio overlooking Ivyleaf Golf Course. Great aspect with views to the sea. It’s a peaceful location and great location for our four legged friend. Jenny was a great host and was very receptive on the occasion we needed her help. Note you are a little bit out of Bude but that helps you explore the many coves and beaches nearby, many are dog friendly. Accommodation is clean with everything we needed. 10/10"
The Old Forge Cottage

"We loved our stay. We needed somewhere pet friendly and this place definitely was. The hosts are really lovely people and have a gorgeous dog themselves so obviously know what people are looking for. There is literally everything that you could ever need in this house, the kitchen is so well stocked and the fridge freezer was massive. We used to have an Aga so enjoyed having the Rayburn stove but for anyone who is not used to this there is a massive air fryer. Would definitely recommend this lovely cottage"
