A Queen Ann style Victorian home in historic Belhaven neighborhood.

This quintessential Southern retreat is located in the the historic Belhaven neighborhood. It is one block from Milsaps College and a short distance from Belhaven University. The Jackson hospitals of UMMC, VA Hospital, MS Baptist, St Dominics and Methodist Rehab are almost within walking distance (1-3 miles). The state capitol, state agency office HQ's and multiple museums are easily accessible. The Fondren entertainment district is also a short distance away. This is a quiet neighborhood featuring sidewalks and old growth trees and manicured lawns. All the homes are decades old and well maintained. Every home has a unique character, especially, this one.

Perfect except for the weather

We loved the house! But there was a very bad storm and a tree fell on the power lines and air conditioner so we had to move out after 4 days. The property manager was great! He was there immediately when we called. We hated to have to move, but it was not his fault!

Travel back in time

The house and neighborhood had historic charm and made us feel we were stepping back in time for a short visit. We loved walking the neighborhood as well as sitting on the porch swing and rocking chairs. There was plenty of room inside the house (more than expected). We would definitely stay here again.

Family Holiday

This property has the charm of 1900's Belhaven. Yet, with charm come modern inconveniences. All bathrooms are Jack and Jill. The property could have been cleaner (some mold by shower and left over candy wrappers in one bedroom). The biggest problem we had was not at all the property owners fault. It is the crime of Jackson. We thwarted a car jacking outside the house. The house is in a nice neighborhood and near the Fairview Inn which is really pricey. Belhaven has got to get crime under control.
