The place is cozy and quiet for a small family and well stocked. The area is very nice with direct beach access. We had a small issue which was corrected when Michelle was notified. We would recommend this place for your vacation.

A real vacation home

I read many reviews that comment on personal touch, but this condo really feels like home. Every detail was taken care of and we even got to meet the owners briefly. If you are looking for a small community and don't need a balcony facing the beach, it's perfect. The pictures are accurate.

Perfect in many ways

This was the perfect condo for a beach vacation. The condo itself is comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is beautifully decorated and has lots of thoughtful extras throughout. The location is fantastic—right on the beach, with a lovely balcony where you can sit in comfort to read or chat while viewing the ocean and hearing the waves The Sand Dollar community also has nice amenities—carts for luggage, beach toys for kids, friendly management. The owners truly are sharing their home.

Wonderful condo in Amelia Island

The condo was fantastic. All the amenities you could ask for including a cooler, beach chairs and umbrellas. Washer and dryer is a nice perk. Little things like paper towels, soap and Kleenex were included. Peter called us on the day of arrival to make sure everything was in order. We would definitely stay there again.

We absolutely loved our stay! The condo was perfect for the two of us and had everything we could possibly need. It was very obvious that the owners care about their guests being comfortable and enjoying their time. The view from the balcony was fantastic. Everything is close and the beach isn’t overcrowded. This is the perfect place to actually slow down and relax. 10 stars out of 5 and 2 enthusiastic thumbs up!

Fall Getaway

This property was just as stated. The best part of this property was the cleanliness. Probably the cleanest property I have stayed at. The private beach access was great. Seashells galore. Parking was easy, checking in and communicating with the owner as well. Close proximity to town. If I were in the area again I would stay here without a doubt.

Short Stay

302 Sand Dollar was pretty much perfect, clean, decorated very nicely, location was great, and communication with the owner was quick and pleasant. Pictures are very accurate, perfect size for a couple (or 2)wanting to relax. Even though the deck didn’t have a full ocean view, you did have a small side view. We really enjoyed the porch and it’s comfortable furniture. The Island is quaint and picturesque, fun to explore…downtown is great. We’ll be back and would recommend this condo, especially for a couple.

Great Location! Great Value! Great Communication from Property Management

The condo was as promised... clean, welcoming, and just a few short steps from the ocean. Loved that the beach was not over- crowded. Attractions were just a short drive away, and it was perfect for us. The ceiling fan that was in the second bedroom did not work correctly, but property management reached out to us to communicate the issue that had just been discovered. It really was a non-issue for us, as the central air kept the condo cool so this did not distract from our comfort. The only suggestion for any type of improvement would be to update the 3 smaller fabric beach chairs provided to match the slightly taller and bigger beach chair. I still give 5 stars. Loved our stay and the great communication from staff. Wonderful place and would definitely stay again!

Such a great find

I recently stayed here with girlfriends for a mom’s trip. I have never been to Amelia Island and we booked kind of late due to a change in plans. I found this condo and it seemed like everything the 3 of us needed. VRBO forgot to send us the parking passes but the property owner had an easy solution and was so helpful. We had all the beach gear we needed and everything was labeled to make it easy. The condo had a washer and dryer, everything you would need in the kitchen, supplies like tide pods and coffee. We were set. The condo is a little small but was perfect for us. Our friends secured the condo next door and did not have the supplies…. Not even coffee. Their condo was very outdated and drab while ours was cute and updated. The condos overall are older but in a great location a a very convenient. We had a great time and did not mind there being a lot of families with kids at the pool since this time they weren’t ours but if you want a quiet pool during most of the day, this might not be what you are looking for. Overall, I would recommend this condo and definitely and Amelia Island.

Perfect In Every Way

I wish we had room to write more! We had a wonderful vacation on Fernandina Beach. From the moment we arrived until the day we reluctantly left, every aspect of our stay was exceptional. The description of the condo and its amenities was accurate, and we found everything as promised upon arrival. The hosts were friendly and responsive; communication was a breeze. The condo itself is impeccably clean and modern and offers a level of comfort that makes it feel like a home away from home. The hosts even provide two nice golf umbrellas by the door (in case it rains). There are thick, nice beach towels, a cooler, beach chairs, and two sturdy and like-new beach umbrellas. The condo's tasteful decor is a delight, with updated and well-maintained furnishings. The modern bathrooms were great, and the beds and pillows were incredibly comfortable. Convenient covered parking makes for easy access to the elevator and stairs. The fully-equipped kitchen had everything we needed to prepare meals when we didn't go out to nearby restaurants. The condo is on the beach, with a private walkway to the sand. The balcony, with rocking chairs and a chaise lounge, became our favorite spot for morning coffee while enjoying the sunrise. The large saltwater pool was a delight. We highly recommend this condo to anyone looking for a relaxing, comfortable and luxurious place to stay in Amelia Island and Fernandina Beach. This condo was everything we could have hoped for. We will definitely return!

Lovely condo on the beach

This is a very nice 2/2 condo that has lovely updates and amenities. The bed was super comfy and the towels were thick. A lot of thought went into what was available like 4 beach chairs, a nice umbrella with a sand screw at the bottom, a cooler, boogie boards and a paddle game. While the condo is not huge it was thoughtfully decorated and accessorized and was perfect for me and my husband.The pool was great- very clean and plenty of chairs. We also found the other guests to be quite nice too! We would definitely come back again.

It was perfect.

The condo was unbelievably clean and well appointed with brand new appliances, etc. The towels, sheets, beds and even the toilet paper were great quality. Soooo many comfortable pillows and the host supplied everything you could need incl. beach towels, paddle ball, great chairs, etc. Even the view was way better than you would expect given the orientation of the balcony. Pool was great with easy beach access. We literally have no complaints and would absolutely recommend to all of our friends. 5 stars all the way!!!
