You and your family will enjoy staying at this comfortable Outer Banks vacation rental home that offers a nice open living room and dining room, well-equipped kitchen, vaulted ceilings, and wonderful ocean views. Enjoy easy beach access with beach boardwalk right across the street and ocean is less than 50 yards away! Come shoot some hoops, enjoy the lovely deck on a summer evening or take a dip in the community pool. Located in the Sea Ridge/Osprey community on the north end of Duck Village. Close enough for a walk or bike ride into town for a cool ice cream or morning paper and cup of coffee. N'or Banks Sailing Center is just across the street for Currituck Sound access and you'll have access to the community pool with changing area and restroom.

  • One of the northernmost towns along the coast in North Carolina, Duck is an idyllic town on the shores of the Currituck Sound. This shot was taken from the town's boardwalk while looking West over the sounds. It is advisable to visit the location in Winter as that is off season - so you can spend more time taking in the beauty of the North Carolina coastline and also sunsets are usually much more picturesque around the time owing to the cooler temperatures and lower amount of atmospheric haze. Plenty of things around Duck to see. Further north, there is the Currituck Lighthouse where you can climb the steps to the top of the lighthouse. North of Corolla, there is an area where you can drive along the coast on the sand - 4X4s a must. Here you can spot some Spanish Mustangs, horses out in the wild. If you're lucky, you can spot them running along the beach in the surf. I'd recommend taking a tour through the Corolla Wild Horse Fund - the money from the tours is used to help the wild horses in every which way possible and the staff are knowledgeable and friendly. Totally enjoyed stay. Should have been a book to tell us WiFi information: totally missed it on refrigerator. Did not see password for pool area anywhere. Ice maker a great idea and helpful. Queen sheets did not fit master bedroom bed. Also listing stated 2 rooms with single beds only one room had single beds. Views from house great. Very comfortable furnishings. Thanks for letting us enjoy your home.

Birthday week

The location is great. A very short and safe walk to the beach. Two miles to the town board walk. The outside of the house needs some TLC. The porch and porch furniture could have used a power wash. There were weeds growing up through the picnic table and steps to the porch. There is a hole in one of the deck boards. Inside the house is perfectly laid out for 8 people. The kitchen could use new pots and pans. Several were ruined by shellfish skum.
