Sat amongst a small cluster of converted stone barns. A rural property sat adjacent to a nature reserve on the Powys/Shropshire border between the village of Clun and Knighton. Offa’s Dyke visitors centre in Knighton links to this long distance path traveling along the hillside opposite Hope Cottage. Glwndwr’s way, Jack Myton way, and Shropshire way are all ancient walking Routs nearby. Knighton has pubs, cafe’s and local shopping including a supermarket. Visitors can easily enjoy trips to nearby Ludlow with its castle, and numerous festivals or Bishop’s Castle with its independent shops and home brewers. There are ten National Trust properties in Shropshire including the nearby Stokesay Castle.
