"Overall our stay was nice, the staff were very helpful and attentive. Our disappointment came in around the strong fragrance in the lobby which was surprising. The other disappointment was the washroom in our room it was very basic, considering the thoughtful design of the lobby and the washrooms located in the lobby. As this was our third hotel and most expensive The room could have been nicer.u the basic washroom with the cream shower curtain."

"The rooms are tiny, much more so than the pictures on Orbitz indicated -- they would make dorm rooms look huge. Other than that, though, the hotel was quite good -- well-situated in Shinjuku and close to everything. In the square behind the hotel, there were various events going on during my stay, including a bunch of food trucks gathered there with tables set up for patrons. Across the square is a huge Starbucks and a building with a large food court as well. There is a 7-Eleven on the first floor, along with various eateries, which is very convenient. Breakfast is served in a Sizzler, of all things, on the first floor; I didn't eat there, but it seemed an odd choice!"

"Our stay at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo was such a beautiful way to end our trip to Japan! The staff were warm, welcoming, and attentive, and the thoughtful details made us feel truly cared for. Our room was spotless, comfortable, and a lovely place to unwind. The magnificent gardens and beautiful pool made the hotel feel like a peaceful retreat in the middle of Tokyo. After busy days exploring the city, it was wonderful to return to such a relaxing setting. Give yourself time to enjoy the hotel, pool, and gardens—they’re all part of what makes this place so special. We left with beautiful memories and would happily return!"

"I had a great few nights stay at the Washington Shinjuku hotel. Check-in was quick and efficient, and the staff were very helpful. The room itself was very small, which was not a problem, however a couple of hangers on a rail or a couple of shelves to arrange some clothes would be beneficial. Shower pressure was excellent. For a solo traveller with minimal luggage, the single room is ideal and I would recommend, but for a couple it would be quite tight. ****"

"Recently stayed at than hotel and it was perfect! The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was vet spacious and clean and all amenities that were needed were provided! My one word of caution is the washer/dryer takes 3-4 hours and it won’t dry your clothes in the first round so please plan the time to do your laundry. Set it when you leave for the day and then re dry when you return but do not wait until the day before you leave so it slowly throughout your trip. I was easily able to have my luggage delivered from Tokyu Stay to my hotel in Kyoto. It was picked up in time and delivered as promised on time. Book this ahead a swell as slots fill up quickly. Coffee and tea provided in the lounge and delicious. Small hotel in the middle of shops and stuff but so convenient for tours and airport and shopping in Shinjuku. Would definitely stay there again! Oh and AC worked great!Tub is high though so if elderly or cannot climb well please get handicap accessible room. 5 stars for sure for this hotel!"

"Second time I’ve stayed here for my last 2 nights back in Tokyo before coming home. Perfect for location (near to great spots for food and shopping, plus more importantly 3mins away from the airport limousine to Haneda) and to be used functionally rather than as a lovely place to stay. Very small room but crucially you can put your suitcases under the bed! I dropped something on the floor and when I picked it up, I saw a lip balm and a travel perfume bottle - so not particularly thorough in terms of cleaning, but the bathroom and sheets and main areas are."

"As travelers from the US we were happily surprised with the room size. It was very spacious for my husband and myself plus our 2 teenage boys and all of our bags. We had more than enough room to spread out and relax after a long day of walking and exploring. The hotel itself was in a great location, sandwiched between 2 train/subway stations which were only a 6-8 minute walk and their famous 7-11 stores and offered a quieter side to the city which was much needed after so much time is spent in the busier areas. I recommend!"
