"Our stay at the GrandWest Arashiyama was exceptional. The room was spacious and clean, reception was incredibly helpful, and the location was quiet and idyllic. During our stay we made the most of the amenities including free refreshments, a washing/drying machine, and a cute cafe situated just downstairs from the hotel entrance. Our stay here was easily one of the best parts of our trip to Japan and I highly encourage those visiting Arashiyama to consider this hotel!"

We were lucky enough to have a private onsen with very clean water at the perfect temperature on a lovely little lanai. "As far as what I didn’t like there is not much that I can think of other than clothes are hard to dry in high humidity. This was not the hotels issue . The property was super clean, staff was fantastic, and it was connected by a short bridge walkway to the train system. Super easy to navigate all over Kyoto. We received a 1000 yen voucher per person in our room which we used at the steakhouse on property. By far top 5 dinners I’ve had, ever…I would highly recommend Hotel Emion Kyoto to anyone thinking of traveling to Kyoto. "
