"In the heart of the shopping district. Staff was very friendly, easy access to public transportation, clean rooms. We stayed in a premium room so we had access to the premium lounge that offered free snacks and beverages."

"The hotel is older but in a very tasteful way. Our room was pleasantly large and had a lovely view of trees and pond. We visited the chashitsu ( tea house) , so elegant. I can't speak of breakfast or dinner both seemed a bit expensive. So we ate at close by places. Enjoyed our time in Kyoto sorry to leave."

"The hotel was very nice and the staff was great. 20 seconds from the hotel you can walk the paths along the lake and it is beautiful. Two stops away from Kyoto station. "
