Quiet and comfortable with friendly staff

Based on a 10 day stay. The building looks a little rough from the outside but the room was clean and bed was comfortable. Check in was done by text message over the phone. Pass code worked well. No issues. After 28 hours travelling we wanted to shower before going to eat. No hot water. This was an issue the whole time. Hot water was available in the mornings but not late after noon. The weather was hot the first week we were there. We walked a lot and when we came back to the hotel to clean up before we went out for supper/dinner we cold showered every time. Hot water every morning though, We did ask for a bedding change on day 6 but were told no by the only employee we saw the whole time there. This place is basically an Air B and B. This was an inexpensive place to stay, good neighbourhood area, good location to walk from, and bus stops to city central and the airport just outside . The train is a short walk down to Haymarket station. If you like to be independent and left alone this is the place for you. We would stay again.

We loved the location. It was beautifully kept. Bus system goes directly to the hotel as well. Most of the staff were fantastic and very helpful. Some of the staff were not kind people at all. Overall we would love to return to this beautiful and unique hotel.
