We live in AZ and went to NV for a change of scene after two months of social distancing at home. We knew we would be spending the majority of our time in the rental so we chose a house with a pool and space for the kids (5 & 9). We brought our own pool floats, games and activities for the kids. Pros - easy check-in; property owner was responsive; washer/dryer; kids enjoyed the pool, slide, games, toys, books and access to streaming services like home. Cons - house is not well maintained like in pictures (cracked tiles. broken chairs, broken banister, master bed uncomfortable) but maybe this is because of high usage; very annoying to use pool with hose filter constantly in pool; dishwasher broke midway through stay (owner was responsive and provided paper/plastic replacement dishes/utensils); kitchen is not ideal if you are planning to cook all your meals. If you are planning to spend the majority of time on the Strip and eating out this house would be nice to come back to at the end of the day. However, I wouldn't recommend if you are planning to spend the majority of your time in the house.
