"It’s a lovely hotel, on one of the most expensive and famous streets in the world. Bedding is exquisite and very comfortable. Based upon the supposed star rankings of this hotel, we found the staff to be a bit aloof and disinterested. For example: Upon check-in after flying halfway across the world and crossing 4-5 time zones, we were asked to wait for over an hour for our room to be ready. To be fair it was the late afternoon, and we had notified the hotel days in advance of our arrival...

"Loved the location. Easy to walk to many shops and restaurants. Historical sites are close. Breakfast is delicious with a wide range of food options; breakfast staff is friendly, helpful and courteous."
