"Really enjoyed our stay for three nights at the Blacksmiths. Warm welcome, great food and a very clean room. Traffic is a bit busy and noisy at times but not something you can do much about. Would happily stay again in this historic local pub set in stunning scenery."

"Nice hotel with swimming pool, sauna and steam room. Breakfast was tasty and steak in their grill bar was good as well. Perfect place if you play golf, but also nice for walking with some great views of the golf course (but you need to watch out for flying golf balls) Great for couples, probably not the best for kids as there isn't much to do for kids in there. Would recommend."

"Lovely two night stay to attend the wedding of our son in nearby Ringmer. Eugene is a great host with very prompt, helpful and friendly communications. The property was perfect for us in a rural, quiet position. Very well presented, equipped, clean and comfortable. The electric fans were much appreciated to cope with the warm weather at the time of our stay."

"Lewes Heights is a large house on the outskirts of Lewes, but a short drive from the centre. It is very well appointed and equipped and has six bedrooms and can sleep up to ten persons. Everything about it works well to provide comfort and ease of living. There are some excellent views out to the downs and the garden is attractive and a comfortable place in which to spend time. We had a very pleasant two nights there and enjoyed it thoroughly. It is not cheap, but provides excellent value for money. The owner was very helpful and rapidly responsive. Strongly recommended"
Cottage attached to 400 year old listed Farmhouse

"Robins Nest is an idyllic place to stay, located in East Sussex countryside, near Barcombe village. The kitchen had everything in it to be a fully functioning kitchen, and if needed, local amenities were available a short drive away should you want to eat out or food shop. The bedroom was on the ground floor, which was a bonus during this hot period as it kept cool. The upstairs had an external balcony which was a lovely place to sit and eat breakfast, whilst watching the menagerie of birds who live in the gardens (and the garden is available to use should you want to sit in the shade and enjoy the peace and quiet). And a special mention should be made of the hosts (Robin and Christine) - they are a wonderful couple, who have a lovely home and buildings to rent out. It was a pleasure to meet them. Highly recommended, a great place to stay, away from the hustle and bustle of towns and cities."

"Very old property with upgrades so you have to expect some issues. - small rooms narrow corridors no lift small shower. Bed was great undulating floors made you feel drunk but I don’t drink so…. Worst problem was lack of parking. And it’s a long way away"
