What we liked: comfy bed, ample storage, good shower pressure/temperature, AC (but didn't need it), good hair dryer, supermarket 1 minute away, bus / train transport nearby. What we did not like: sliding balcony door could not be locked, the balcony curtains are missing hooks to keep them in place had to tape it shut, no windows only sliding doors which feel unsafe to sleep with open, could hear some street noise (tolerable).

Great property, can clearly see it is popular due to the number of people around but still very quiet in your rooms. Would have been nice to have a vending machine or similar in the building given there is no restaurant in case I am after a small snack

Overall the property was clean and conveniently located (close to Rato Station). Access to a laundry room was great. The ground floor unit we were on had a terrace which was nice, except for it being a bit noisy as it faced a back alley. The table on the terrace was also broken when we arrived.

Good for a family trip

It’s a very comfortable, modern and clean room. The location is not walking distance to the city centre but uber is easy and reasonable priced. A large supermarket is just next door. I still prefer a face to face check in process though.

Clean no-fuss Luxury

Highly recommend Numa as a self-serve hotel - clean, luxurious, lots included like welcome snacks and drinks, espresso pods in the room, and free laundry room -- not in a touristy location, easy access to bus and metro, i took walks in all directions- felt very safe. Hotels.com does NOT provide the confirmation number you need to check in: the only place I had it was a casual reference in the request for paying the city tax in the email from Numa. Then, enter that Numa number (mine ended with -1, that's part of it) to check in. I had trouble with it and thank goodness for super friendly Numa staff that happened to be there when i was trying to gain access.

The contactless service and communications were amazing. the proprty is located next door to a grocery store and between 2 metro stations. The kitchenette was super functional for what we needed.

Good location, close to Metro and walkable (if fit) to centre. Family smart room, though a bit on small size. Nice terrace, even if we didn't use it. Main drawbacks was there was no housekeeping during our 3 night stay. Had some issues adjusting AC that they didn't fix. Guess the time of AI communication is here to stay, but still prefer a real human.

This property is lying about their listing. Firstly: there is no daily housekeeping. This is false information. They apparently take out the bins and make the bed. On the first day they didn’t even take out the bins. Therefore the whole room is messy and gross by and of stay. Totally understandable if this is communicated beforehand — but the listing states daily housekeeping so this is false. Secondly: there is no one onsite. I had queries on Saturday night and literally no one responded for one full hour and then never tried to rectify the situation? Embarrassing level of customer support considering no one is on site. Thirdly: weird vibe. Because there is no lobby weird people linger in the entrance way and if there are any issues (safety or otherwise good luck). Interesting concept to test out as I really liked the easy checkin and there were no issues with PIN code. But clearly Numa are only focusing on efficiency and zero customer service. Would not recommend any of these properties.

Numa Lisbon Rato was a lovely building, the apartments were great, clean, high quality. The area was nearby good food/drink locations and a 2 supermarkets a couple minutes away. Multiple transport options nearby or can walk to the centre of Lisbon in 20-25 minutes. However, my biggest issue is the air con, even though it's turned on you can't feel it and have no control over it. It wasn't warm in Lisbon 15-20 degrees but the room was still warm. I would not stay here during the peak of summer weather

I stayed at Numa rato from Nov 10 to 19th while my booking was from 10th to 23rd , had to checkout 4 days earlier because of a personal emergency. Numa is a fully self service concept , room was nice and clean but my stay was a bit longer and had to manage the cleaning etc myself. Also Numa showed no mercy in accomodating my emergency request for leaving early and charged me for entire two weeks until 23rd instead of 19th.
