Wrong address listed.

The hostel was not listed at the right address. It was in a different part of Lisbon from what the listing with Hotels. com said. It was further away from the city center. On arrival the price was also more.

It was extremely difficult to find. Even locals didn't know abut Paranaue Hostel was. Finally found it after an hour of searching. There was no sign to say it was a Hostel. It was in a run-down sleazy block of flats with open-door dangerous lifts on the 9th floor. There was nobody there for me to check-in even thought I knocked on a few doors on the 9th floor. Felt very very unsafe so I decided to find another local accommodation for the night. THIS IS A SCAM to cheat vulnerable tourists.

It was almost impossible to find the hostel, till they answered the phone and told me that they were having constructions and they were closed! How they put themselves online available for bookings and they are closed at the same time!

Desapontamento total.

O Paranauê Hostels fica localizado em um conjunto residencial fora da cidade e dentro de um apartamento residencial usado para acomodar os hóspedes. É sujo, muito pequeno com acomodações inadequadas. Não fiquei hospedada o que me causou um gasto extra de €360,00 no Ibis Porto Hotel. Como o Hotéis.com pode oferecer aos seus consorciados um serviço de tão péssima qualidade? Fiquei temporariamente deslocada e sem lugar para ficar num país estrangeiro. Muito desapontamento!!!

Unable to find the place as it was not advertised from outside and seemed to be located in an apartment building. I did not feel safe in the neighborhood and left before I could find it.

Don't do it

It was really hard to find, was in a huge block of flats on the 9th floor with no signage. It was a very rough area and we didn't feel safe. It was loud, hot, dirty and very small and cramped. It was also very loud and we didn't sleep at all. It was apparently being renovated but I didn't see evidence of that. It was so very disappointing and extremely overpriced

빡치네요

개비추 벧흐버그 나왔어요ㅡㅡ 그리고 왜 아파트인데 동호수가 안나와있죠? 현지인들한테 묻다가 구글에서 찾았어요ㅡㅡ 밤 12시에 리스본 거리 헤매는데 무서웠어요. 더 가관인건 혹시 몰라서 불키고 자는데 새벽에 눈떠보니까 눈 앞에 베드벅 기어다니고 있길래 새벽 5시에 그냥 체크아웃했어요. 호텔스닷컴에 항의 했는데 답변 없어서 여기다 그냥 적습니다. 첫째날 여기서 베드버그 물려서 나머지 여행 다 망치고 세탁만 하다가 끝났어요 ㅋㅋㅋㅋ몸이랑 얼굴이랑 간지러서 잠도 못자고~~ 베드버그가 어떻게 생긴지 궁금하신 분들은 꼭 이용하세요^^!

Ok. Hard to find and in a shady area

The hostel was ok. The room and the bathroom were both clean (the kitchen - not so much...). The guy working there was nice and helpful, but did not know English at all. I could hear him watching music videos all night, so the rooms were not soundproof at all. As the hostel is close to the airport other guests may arrive in the middle of the night. My biggest problem with the hostel was the area and that it’s basically impossible to find. The hostel is located at the 9th floor in an apartment building. There are no visible signs and I only found it because someone posted directions on Google and by chance as someone opened the door as I walked by. The surrounding area felt shady and together with the lack of signs I, as a solo female, did not feel safe. I would not recommend any of my female friends to sleep here if they were arriving alone late at night, I would rather sleep at the airport if I had an early flight again.

Oseriöst hostel. Jag betalade 20 EUR priset var 18 EUR dem hade ingen växel och kom hela tiden med undanflykter att chefen måste komma. Jag fick dem aldrig till slut. Området är inte bra och jag skulle absolut inte rekommendera det här stället.

Je suis passé devant l'adresse de Paranauê Hostel, à Lisbonne. Il ne s'agit pas d'un hôtel ou d'une auberge, mais d'un appartement au 9e étage d'un immeuble privé, avec des sans-abri vivant dans le hall et aux alentours. J'ai refusé d'y entrer par crainte d'agression ou de violence. J'ai dû me rendre dans un autre hôtel près de l'aéroport et payer un tarif de 66 euros pour la nuit.

It's an apartment not a hotel and it is not comfortable at all. The only thing positive with this appartment is that it's 10min walk to the Airport of Lisbon. That's really practical for flight's stopover or if you coming to Lisbonne late in the night or you have a flight very early in the morning. Also, note that it's difficult to find this fake hotel : First : go to the building that showed here in the map. Then : find the entrance wich is the opposite side of the road. Then : take the elevator to the 9th Level when you will find a nice high view. Finally : search for a door with the name "Paranau Hotel" and ring. The gentle owner open the door for you and you have to show him your passport and pay 22€ cash. He will then take to your room in the upstairs where you will find commun WC. In the downstairs, you have a kitchen and a living room with TV. The owner have friends and other clients, there is a little noise. In the morning, you will have a good breakfast. To summarize : This fake hotel is made to people who need to sleep near the airport with a lower price. There is no comfort.
