Staying in a 16th century building is a unique experience. The accommodation is comfortable, quiet, and the location is convenient for walking to many sites, as well as good access to the metro, and trams. Our communication with Miguel was good, and he was helpful in offering suggestions.

Suite Mercador was loveley and we really recommend it. We had two wonderfull nights there. The apartment is gorgeous with a nice bathroom and a very comfortable bed. I

アパートメントタイプのため、ホテルのエントランスは分かりづらいですが、事前にスタッフの方とやり取りをして、到着間際にエントランスで待っていてくれました。 内観は非常に素晴らしく、素敵なヨーロッパの雰囲気を味わうことが出来ました。 また、リスボンに行く機会があれば、利用したいと思います！

Charm in Lisboa on Sao Jose.

The location was in a great location. Close access to a lot of the sights. Restaurants nearby were excellent. In fact, the one next door was great. The hotel had a wonderful charm and is very rustic and cultural unlike many modern, plain hotels. The room was very comfortable. Couldnt have aked for anything better. The peiole we dealt with were very pleasant and accommodating. We would definitely go back.

キッチンのコーヒーメーカーやトースターなど壊れていたり使えないものがありました。フロントがないので常に管理人に連絡する必要があります。ロケーションとしてはバイシャ地区など中心部に近く便利です。管理人にはショートメールで24時間連絡がついたので問題はなかったのですが、フロントがないのは若干不安でした。

Beautiful stay

Very very nice stay. The hotel has only 3 rooms but they are phenomenal. It looks as if you were in a palace. The rooms are very thought through. Designer furniture matching the theme of a palace. There is no hotel reception but Miguel and his collegues were always reachable via phone or message, so everything worked smoothly. Would definitely stay again.

Really Great Stay !!!

Over all it was a wonderful stay at the Mercador. I came to Lisbon for the first time and Miguel, the manager of the hotel was absolutely wonderful and so helpful with all his suggestions on things to do, places to visit and restaurants to dine at. Really Awesome!! They hotel was great but please keep in mind something that isn’t clear when booking. Mercador is not actually a hotel. It’s guest house apts and they don’t actually provide breakfast. The apts have kitchenette and they stalk it with food and replenish as needed or requested. Butcthey do have housekeeping every day. So overall even though that wasn’t clear I was a wonderful experience

Tolles Ambiente, sehr gute Lage. Aktuell leider Baustelle in der Straße und daher etwas mehr Lärm am Morgen - aber wer die Stadt kennen lernen will, der möchte ohnehin früh aufstehen. Leider hat es im Bad unangenehm gerochen.

When we checked in we found out that we were fixing our own breakfast with items provided in the room for us. They said they would replenish the items each day, but when we returned from a long day of sigjhtseeing our first day we found that most items, including coffee, had not been replenished. We emailed the manager looking for his help but he ignored our email for over 24 hours until after we had checked out and explained then that "they must have forgotten". Poor excuse.

Not worth the price

Mercador was ok but for the cost not worth it. First of all the apartment is located in a side street and we had to stand outside inspite of telling them that we have an early arrival. The breakfast which was supposed to made to order was hard bread in the fridge, couple yogurts, and rotten fruits. Coffee machine was like from 1900s and it took us several trials to make coffee. Our flight got cancelled due to weather in Newark and we arrived a day late but we were forced to pay for the night we were not there. Overall not a very good experience even though the person Andre and Miguel tried to respond to us and help us with getting uber etc.

Accueil sympathique par la personne de contact joignable pendant tout le séjour Ménage journalier Points forts : - très bien situé, au centre de la vieille ville, très proche des quartiers de Rossio, Bairro Alto, Chiado, Graça, Castelo - literie de très haute qualité Points faibles : - insonorisation (simple vitrage) mais heureusement la nuit le quartier est très calme - petit déjeuner : ce n'est pas un hôtel, donc pas de service de petit déjeuner, il faut préparer son repas soi-même avec les produits mis à disposition dans le réfrigérateur (lait, jus de fruits, oeufs, beurre, un pack de fromage et un pack de jambon, pain brun tranché) - Réapprovisionnement journalier mais un peu aléatoire par la femme de ménage...

Nice hotel, close to downtown

Hotel was somewhat age-worn but an excellent experience. We intend to stay there again! There was a staff member in the street who greeted me by name when we drove up and walked us through the parking garage procedures before seeing us to our rooms.

Muito positiva nossa experiência no Mercador. Viajamos eu, meu marido e filha de 2 anos e fomos muito bem recebidos e acomodados. A localização é ótima. Literalmente em frente ao metrô avenida (só passar por dentro da galeria Tivoli Forum). Muitos restaurantes e tabernas a poucos metros. Enfim, perfeito! Euzébio foi extremamente atencioso conosco! Recomendo e certamente ficaremos no Mercador em uma próxima viagem à Lisboa.

Tolles Wochenende

Der Empfang durch John war bereits ein sehr angenehmes Erlebnis, seine Tipps sehr hilfreich. Das Ambiente der Suite ist luxuriös. Selbstverpflegung am Morgen in der Kitchenette eine gute Sache. Und die Lage ist ausgezeichnet, so nahe am Zentrum, wir gingen ganz oft zu Fuss und genossen die Spaziergänge. Einziges Manko war, dass die Eigentümer/Mieter im Stockwerk über uns sehr lange auf waren in der ersten Nacht, nicht wirklich laut aber die Zimmerdecken sind nicht so gut schallisoliert. Trotzdem ein tolles Gesamterlebnis und wir gehen sicher wieder hin!

Ett annorlunda hotell, mer likt ett vanligt hyreshus. Fanns ingen reception men personal kom direkt man ringde. Bra läge mitt i stan vid avenyn och gångavstånd till det stora shoppingområdet Chiado. Rummen mysigt inredda, antikt och nytt blandat med mycket rysch och pysch. Fanns ett kitschenett så man kunde fixa frukost och ev. enklare rätter. Kylskåpet var laddat med det som behövdes för en ok frukost. Otroligt trevlig och tillmötesgående personal. Enda nackdelen var att det var lite kyligt i rummen, men det är ju höst även där.
