Brilliant Hostel
Perfect spot, very easily accessible, great roof terrace bar, funky decor and DEEELICIOUS breakfast 😁 really enjoyed our stay and hope to stay again when we return to Lisbon.

Amazing Hostel! Staff is really nice and welcoming , accommodations were great. The terrace is a really nice place to hang out and meet people. Alcool is cheap , they serve good food also. Everything was excellent , definitly the best hostel ive been in yet!

Loved the rooftop terrace and free beer and sangria every night. Breakfast is free and it’s SO easy to meet people here. Also the location was literally the best thing about this place. So central and right above a train station (couldn’t hear a thing!). Timeout foodhall is right across the street too, and it’s super easy to walk anywhere in the city from here.

Great Hostel To Stay At In Lisbon
The hostel is right by he water and is on the first floor of the station but you can’t hear any of the noice from outside. Very plush and modern, the beds are very comfortable and the facilities are amazing. The highlight being the rooftop. The bar and the pool is just an amazing idea and I loved spending time there. The rooms are cleaned on a daily basis and the staff is just amazing! A definite for solo or small groups looking for a good hostel to stay at!

Best hostel experience
Amazing stay. No question the best hostel I have ever stayed at. We had a private room with bathroom, but the group rooms also looked quite nice. not just your typical barracks style bunk beds. Free wine and beer in the evening was a great catalyst for socializing and the rooftop bar/pool is a fantastic area. Great location, close to all the action, and convenient to everything Lisbon has to offer. Breakfast was nothing fancy, but good, filling food, setting you up nicely for a day of adventuring.

I was so happy with my stay! The beds were comfortable. I started off in a top bunk, but I have short arms and legs, and dreaded getting in and out of bed, so I was able to switch to a lower bunk for the second half of my stay. Much better! The staff was friendly and helpful. I didn't take advantage of any tours, but they all looked really good. The free breakfast was fantastic - it was simple, but there was a great variety. The location was also very convenient - right over a train station! I was a little confused about how to get in the first time, but I found another guest who told me what to do. Thanks for everything!

It is a nice hostel. It is closed to everything and located on the train station. The room was nice with good design but the bathroom is too small.

The location of this hostel is amazing. In the train station but still peaceful. The noises are more from the street than from any trains. The breakfast wonderful - bread, crepes, fresh fruit, luncheon meat and cereal. There was even a espresso machine. I would have given my stay a 10/10 had it not been for the showers. I appreciate the notion of saving water and am all for it, but only 10 seconds each time seems a bit excessive. I had to continuously focus on pushing the button or the water temperature would shut off and temperature would cool if I missed it. The stall was also very narrow. Aside from the shower though the staff was very welcoming and friendly. The room and was spacious, bed was comfortable. The location was perfect. Right in the train station and very close to any sites or transportation.

Nice hotel in the very centre of the city
I came for 1 Christmas night and the holiday event at the Destination hotel was amazing. The guys loved it alot. Christmas decoration, big Christmas dinner, hot wine and got cider. Dances in the dome. Everything was fantastic. Part of the hostel premises are located in the old rail station which makes this place even more special. My friends ask me about all this old electronics on photos. The corridors look like a museum. This place is for sure outstanding!

Very much a hostel. Bed was ok and room was clean. Bathroom down the hall shower did not work and could never get into the other shower as always seemed to be someone in them.

Perfect Hostel!!!
It was a great Hostel with AC and pool. Great location right over the train station. Book without hesitation. Only issue, you have to keep pushing to keep the shower water running.

Ridiculously good value
Our stay at Sunset Destination Hostel was nothing short of wonderful. Everything from the friendly staff, to the comfortable room and beautiful rooftop terrace helped make our stay in Lisbon our best trip yet. The location was perfect for us too, we'll definitely be back!

excellent hostel
A really great hostel, with great amenities and great staff. one guest in my room was not a nice person though and this spoiled what could have been a perfect stay. Perhaps if you charged a little more so that you weren't the cheapest hostel available you would avoid attracting the wrong type of person.

Great little hotel close to centre
Very good value and close to centre of town - could not have been more helpful to us - we stayed for 1 night before going to jungle - after 3 days in the jungle they happily stored our bags for no charge while we went for some food while waiting for our flight - for a good mid range option I think you would struggle to do better in Manaus

NO better hostel in a FAB location with BREAKFAST!
This was the best hostel stay I have had in recent times...wonderful buffet breakfast everyday with wonderful, friendly, relaxed staff to help you when you needed it. Location allowed for wonderful view during the day and night, especially during sunset on the terrace!!

Very helpful and affable staff, the amenities are modern, well kept and always clean yet the place has a nice rustic and retro feel. The breakfast is varied and filling, pancakes and fruit are my favourite so I was very happy. As for the dorms, the beds are comfy, have a curtain for privacy and have a personal light; what more do you need?

Fantastic location and view of the river!
Very pleased with my stay at Sunset Destination. It was under construction during my time there, so that was a little bit of a pain, but they did an amazing job accommodating their guests during the renovations. I'm sure it will be even more beautiful once that is completed. One thing to note... It's definitely not a party hostel, so don't come here if you want to stay up late and be loud. You will be kindly reprimanded by the 24/7 receptionist. Overall, I had a great stay and would definitely stay at this location again. The free wine @ sunset was a very nice touch.

One of the best hostels of ALL time!!!
I stay at a lot of hostels and this was one of my favorites – highest praise! I will think really hard if there are any constructive critiques I can give…. I'm pretty sure it's a solid five stars though! have your own Toiletries! Towels s are given though. The hostel also has a rooftop bar and pool! This is amazing! Too bad it was February! They even give a free glass of wine at sunset, which is so nice, but hard to take advantage of because there's lots to be out doing in Lisbon! It's a great city! The atmosphere is pretty conducive to meeting other travelers. People here are friendly and happy – because why wouldn't you be, you're in a GREAT hostel! It was actually a really well stocked kitchen on the whole, which I totally appreciated! Space to prepare your own food and a kettle and tea all day so you can have tea whenever you want. The absolute BEST thing about this hostel was the unreal amazing breakfast! It only goes until 10:30, but you do NOT want to miss It! Crepe style pancakes with Nutella made my life! Although these are in limited supply, so hurry up and get there early - you'll probably only get one. Also, choice of Cereals, breads with cream cheese and amazing jams (yum!) Good orange juice and tea, yougert, cheese and meat slices, fresh fruit slices (apple, orange and kiwi)… loads of variety and delicious food; you can eat until you're full! It's the best. ld stay here again and recommend it to anyone! Very good hostel.

Nice hostel for backpackers
I spent 3 nights in this hostel above the train station. The design was quite trendy, with lots of decoration of youth style, and what's more interesting is the hostel is merged with the second level of the train station! Interesting design! The roof top is fantastic with a nice view to the river and the surrounding! It would be very nice to have soak into the pool and have a drink during the summer (It's a pity that I went there in winter...). The staff are very helpful and speak English well!

Best ... Hostel ... Ever!
This is the best hostel I have ever stayed in. The staff was incredibly friendly from the second you got there. If you needed something, they were there to help you out! The Zebra Bar and pool on the roof were both fantastic, and offered incredible views of the sea. I cannot wait to come back!

Great hostel and great value
Great hostel, clean with good facilities, great location right down town. Good security, only thing I didn't like was the showers you have to keep pressing the button or the water turns off but the rest of it makes up for that!
