The Turim Restauradores hotel is next to the funicular and close to many attractions but it is surprisingly quiet. Lots of great restaurants and wine bars are in its vicinity. I would definitely stay there again

Great stay in Lisboa

Really helpful staff, very nice breakfast. Location was great for our visit. After multiple stops in European cities, we were delighted to find full-size room (with king bed) and a spacious bathroom with tub.

Pleasant staff, good room with air con, good variety at breakfast, ideal location. Our room at the back was a reasonable distance from the opposite building. Some construction works nearby that meant limited access for taxis.

The hotel is very nice. My room was spacious with a big bathroom. However, the TV set was too small (it is like a computer monitor that was hanged on the wall). This was something that needs upgrading. The breakfast was great with lotd of varieties.

Despite the impression given on the website, this is a very old hotel that feels far from “renovated.” The entire atmosphere comes across as overly pretentious, but without the quality or comfort to justify it. The pillows were some of the worst I’ve ever encountered—the filling was broken into so many pieces that it felt like sleeping on a bag of rocks. The air conditioning unit was extremely old and noisy, making it difficult to rest. The bathroom also had several issues: the air ducts in the partition clearly need urgent repair, and after every shower the floor was left completely flooded. For the extremely high price charged, this hotel does not deliver in any way. Between the outdated facilities, uncomfortable rooms, and inflated sense of grandeur, I cannot recommend it. There are far better options in Lisbon that offer genuine comfort and value—look elsewhere.

Stay for the proximity to stuff

The reason to stay here is due to proximity to transit via Restauradores Square and attractions like Miradouro de São Pedro de Alcântara (which is a 5 minute hike uphill or a funicular ride up). The room was clean though some repairs are needed to the door and floors. The towels always had a strange smell to them. The A/C is odd to work with. Due to the place being on a side street off the funicular line, there isnt much of a from your room. As far as food, they do offer a breakfast but unless you have no time for food, just go outside and walk 5 minutes in any direction you will find something cheaper and better.

Picked this hotel for its location: FABULOUS! Room was a bit smaller than I expected but price point for such a central location was excellent. Unfortunately, my stay was marred at the end by an incident involving transportation (booked through the hotel) for transfer to the airport. I arrived 10 minutes early for the departure & noted a car parked across from the property. Reception staff said they would alert me when the driver arrived. 15 minutes later a woman entered & spoke to reception & exited. Moments later, staff told me my driver had arrived. I discovered that the parked car I observed was indeed my transport and that she had arrived 35 minutes earlier & alerted staff. They did NOT inform me. Our late departure was concerning & I nearly missed my flight.
