"We had an enjoyable stay in the cottage. There is a lot of useful information material, but some information was outdated (WiFi password, name and number of the local manager, number of the proprietor). This made it difficult to contact manager or proprietor when we encountered a problem. Once contact was established, the problem was resolved smoothly. There is a nice 8 km walk starting from the cottage, the finest part of which is a stretch of coastline that is only accessible at low tide....

"We stayed for 2 weeks last year and 3 weeks this time. We have already asked for 4 weeks next year! Neither fashionable nor modern (the refrigerator is vintage 1970), it is the quiet respite we love and the location for daily drives and coffee looking out at Clew Bay. The housekeeper has made a huge difference in its upkeep, treated us as “her wee Americans” and gave us fabulous ideas for things to do, including Clew Bay Charters. We will count the days until we return."

"It is a really good house for a group of up to 10 people. It's three minutes from Westport by car and easily walkable too. The house overall was extremely comfortable and well equipped. The beds were really good quality and comfortable too. The only thing I would suggest is it would be great to have a few additional en suites but it worked well as it was for our group. We all agreed that we would happily rebook The Rocks were we to return to Westport again."

"We enjoyed a fantastic week at this wonderful property in a stunning location on Lough Mask. The facilities are excellent and Thomas (the host) was brilliant - so kind, thoughtful and welcoming. The welcome hamper was a lovely touch and much appreciated after a long drive! The house is enormous and very well-equipped. Sitting in the hot tub and taking in the view of the countryside is simply sublime. If you are lucky, you may see deer grazing around the garden in the early morning. We drove out...

"We absolutely loved Brownstone Lodge. Perfect location near Lough Carra in County Mayo. We were able to do some fishing when the weather allowed. The remoteness of the location was amazing, so quiet and so peaceful. And the lodge was well stocked, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the company of our caretakers and they made sure that we had everything that we needed. We had a lovely time and we cannot wait to come back!"

"Very spacious home, beautiful area, walking distance to market and local pub. Also close to Cong where there is a great butcher/specialty market. Kitchen was well equiped for our Christmas celebration."

"Huis kijkt mooi uit op een fjord. De weg er naar, via een smal grindpaadje was moeilijk te vinden. Huis is mooi ingericht en van alle gemakken voorzien. Wel vreemd dat je boven het behoorlijk huurbedrag ook nog apart voor elektriciteit en verwarming moet betalen. Dat stond in de advertentie maar het blijft vreemd. Wat echt tegenviel was de communicatie met de organisatie. We moesten om 16.00 uur met iemand bellen voor de sleutel. In grotendeels onverstaanbaar Iers vertelde de man dat zijn vader...
